Split Fiction Debuts on Top of Weekly UK Retail Charts

Last week, the highly anticipated game “Split Fiction” was launched, generating a lot of excitement and anticipation. The game has been selling exceptionally well, with more than a million copies sold globally, which aligns with its universally positive critical reception. In the UK, it’s also been a hit, ranking number one in the most recent weekly UK physical sales charts, according to data from Gfk (as reported by Push Square). Interestingly, 89% of the game’s physical sales in the UK were on the PlayStation 5.

Besides a few recently launched games, other titles also made it to the top 10 list. The Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars takes the fourth position, while Two Point Museum ranks ninth. Interestingly, Monster Hunter Wilds, which was previously the best-selling game last week, has slid down to second place now.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains a strong seller, claiming the fifth position on the list, while Super Mario Party Jamboree, another Switch first-party title, trails behind at number 10. Additionally, PGA Tour 2K25 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 are positioned at numbers 7 and 8 respectively. You can find the complete top 10 for the week ending March 8 in the link provided below.
