In Monster Hunter Worlds, your Palico functions as a small, resilient Felyne companion, equipped with numerous supportive abilities. These skills ensure your wellbeing during a hunt, heal you from afflictions, and even aggravate the monsters on your behalf. The process of acquiring new Support Moves or enhancing the existing ones might seem unclear, and it’s also challenging to determine what moves you currently possess. To clarify, below is a list detailing all the Palico Support moves along with explanations of their functions.

In contrast to Monster Hunter World, where my Palico’s Support Moves are manually chosen by me, in Monster Hunter Wilds, they independently control a variety of these abilities. It’s not up to me to decide which ones to bring on a hunt; instead, they have the freedom to use them all. Admittedly, there are times when they don’t pick the right one at the perfect moment, but having such a wide range at their disposal is truly exciting!

Vigorwasp Delivery

With the Vigorwasp Delivery service, your Palico can dispatch a healing Vigorwasp towards you. Following this action, they’ll need some time before sending another one. Once upgraded, though, your Palico will provide enhanced Vigorwasps that heal more effectively and can send multiple in quick succession.

Purewasp Delivery

1. Using Purewasp Delivery, it removes any ailments or unusual conditions afflicting you. As an upgrade, you’ll now have two Purewasps at your disposal.

2. With Purewasp Delivery, it clears away any diseases or abnormalities affecting you. The enhancement adds an extra Purewasp to your team, bringing the total to two.

3. Employing Purewasp Delivery, it rids you of any afflictions or irregular conditions. The improvement equips you with double the number of Purewasps, now totaling two.

4. By utilizing Purewasp Delivery, it banishes any curses or anomalies plaguing you. Upgrading increases your Purewasps to a pair of two.

5. With the aid of Purewasp Delivery, it wipes out any maladies or peculiarities impacting you. The upgrade multiplies the number of Purewasps available, going from one to two.

Provoke

Using the Provoke skill, your Palico can attract a monster’s focus. Enhancing this ability will make the monster pay attention for an extended period, giving your Palico more time to retaliate effectively.

Place Paracorn

The Shocktrap, located at Paracorn, serves as your Palico’s special trap. Even though you can’t instruct your Palico to set it up, it can be incredibly helpful when you need to catch a monster quickly. Upgrading this feature will decrease the time before your Palico can use it again.

Let-‘Er-RRRip

With the cannon tool, your Palico will repeatedly fire ammunition at monsters, potentially causing wounds. This upgrade enables your Palico to continue this relentless attack.

Sporenet: Song o’ Power

Upgrading this Power Boost will enhance your attacking ability. The advanced variant amplifies both the intensity and longevity of its impact.

Sporenet: Song o’ Purrtection

As a gamer, I’ve noticed that when I’m about to faint against a monster, a certain tune kicks in, boosting my defenses like nothing else. This mysterious melody seems to be an upgrade of sorts, extending its duration and making it more potent.

Attract Vigorwasps

Different from other Vigorwasp abilities, this one calls for a creature to a designated spot. To activate its healing properties, you’ll have to physically trigger or release the summoned bug. The enhanced version draws in a colossal Vigorwasp. This supportive move can be obtained through the Helping Hand quest.

Flashfly Cage

The Flashfly Trap functions as a stun grenade, useful for momentarily disorienting nearby monsters or inciting anger in others. Your Palico becomes proficient at placing these traps with regularity upon upgrading this skill. You can enhance it by completing the mission known as the Flash Course quest.

Rath-from-Above

In this charming maneuver, your Palico soars above the hunting ground on a hot air balloon, showering fire from above.

Plunderang

The Plunderang will snatch materials off of any monster it hits.

Vigorwasp Revival

How to check your Palico’s Support Moves

To view your Palico’s Support Moves, open the game’s pause menu, then click on the ‘Info’ tab (it looks like a magnifying glass on paper). Next, choose ‘Palico Info’. In this new screen, look for the paw print icon to access the Support Move table. Here, you can see which moves your Palico has and whether any are upgraded.
