Neil Morrissey and Martin Clunes’s new series confirms air date as pair reunite

The series will officially start airing at 9pm on Tuesday 25th March on Gold.

Recently, Morrissey has appeared in the drama series titled “Finders Keepers.” Notably, he’s also recognized for his roles in “Line of Duty” and “Waterloo Road,” as well as providing the voice for the character Bob the Builder.

Currently, Clunes is most recognized for portraying the lead role in Doc Martin, and more recently, he starred as a farmer fighting for his family and lifestyle in the ITV suspense series titled Out There.

In the official summary for Neil & Martin’s Bon Voyage, it is mentioned: “Neil Morrissey and Martin Clunes, who previously shared fame as flatmates Tony and Gary in Men Behaving Badly, embark on a journey across France, a country that has become Neil’s second home in this new series.

The two friends plan to journey from Normandy, passing through the Alps, all the way to Neil’s home and apple orchard in the South. Along this trip, they’ll savor stunning scenery, delicious cuisine, and unique local customs. This journey will serve as a reunion and an opportunity for them to reminisce about their 30-year-long professional and personal bond.

Initially announcing the show, Morrissey expressed excitement, stating that it was a wonderful chance for him to present his friend Martin to all the aspects of France he adores so deeply, as well as the French landmarks he’s long desired to explore.

I’ve developed a deep affection for this nation, its delectable cuisine, and exceptional wines. Since Martin holds an EU passport, I expect that he might move here after I’ve concluded my relationship with him.

As Clunes mentioned, he’s eagerly anticipating the variety of sights, sounds, flavors, encounters with people, and adventures that Neil has planned for him in France.

I’m especially excited about spending lots of time with my longtime friend Neil, who I’ve been missing quite a bit since he moved to a country he claims boasts the world’s finest landscapes, cuisine, and wines. I plan to taste it all and see if his claim is true.
