Starting this April, I’ve eagerly anticipated the explosive comeback of “One Piece” anime after a grueling six-month hiatus. As the days tick by, the excitement among fans is palpable, and now we have confirmation that our favorite pirate saga will find its new streaming home on Netflix. In fact, it was more than a year ago when Netflix first announced they would be streaming the latest episodes of the Egghead Arc back in January, making them another suitable residence for Eiichiro Oda’s cherished tale. With the second part of the Egghead Arc fast approaching, Netflix has confirmed that fans like us can continue watching the series weekly, just as we did prior to the anime’s hiatus.
A recent post from Netflix’s Anime account confirms that the second part of the Egghead Arc in One Piece will be streamable on Netflix when the anime resumes in April. This announcement was paired with the primary visual for the Egghead Arc, which was initially revealed at Jump Festa in December. Although Netflix has already obtained most of the previous One Piece arcs and films, streaming the Egghead Arc during the past year, this confirmation is warmly welcomed since Netflix provides a popular alternative streaming choice to Crunchyroll.

One Piece Confirms Netflix Among Streaming Homes Ahead of April Return
In just a fortnight, we’re eagerly anticipating the comeback of the Egghead Arc in One Piece! The hiatus was aimed at enhancing the animation quality even more, and judging by the excitement among fans, it seems to be working. As revealed at Jump Festa, the One Piece anime is set to resume on April 6th, 2025, though there’s a slight change in schedule. For the first time in two decades, new episodes will air not during the morning slot, but instead at 11:15 PM Japan Standard Time.
It’s expected that Part 2 of the Egghead Arc will adhere to its previous release schedule on Netflix, with fresh episodes premiering simultaneously as they do in Japan on Crunchyroll. A week later, these episodes will become available on Netflix. This delay is likely due to licensing agreements for the series and it’s unlikely to alter unless something changes. For fans who are Netflix subscribers, this means a more straightforward and convenient way to watch the thrilling new One Piece episodes compared to managing multiple subscriptions, especially since Netflix’s anime collection continues to expand day by day.
