One theory that could be validated is that Dan Erickson, the series creator, will ensure the last episode is worth the wait.
In an exclusive chat with TopMob News, Sarah expressed her eagerness about Dan Erickson’s stunning finale from season one. She’s thrilled for fans to witness it and anticipates that it might spark new questions while simultaneously addressing existing ones.
I can’t forget the moment I first laid eyes on that mind-blowing script for episode 10. Right then and there, at the age of 18, it felt like time stood still.
In New York, where we had recently finished shooting another episode, Sarah reminisced. She was brimming with excitement because receiving an email with a new script always got her heart racing. As she sat down to read it, her enthusiasm grew. By the time she finished reading, she found herself astonished, her jaw dropped in awe.
She added, “I couldn’t believe it.”

See that you’re seated comfortably, have a drink if needed, and brace yourselves – it’s going to be quite an exciting journey!” (She said this playfully.)
As a lifestyle expert, I must say that the final episode of Severance is just one of several episodes that left me utterly amazed. To be honest, I didn’t anticipate many of the mind-blowing twists that unraveled in the second season, which boasts an exceptional cast including Adam Scott as Mark Scout, Britt Lower as Helly Riggs, Patricia Arquette as Harmony Cobel, Tramell Tilman as Seth Milchick, John Turturro as Irving Bailiff, and Zach Cherry as Dylan George. This series truly knows how to keep its audience on the edge of their seats!
Sarah put it this way: “Dan is incredibly intelligent, and he constantly creates fascinating, amazing ideas. As a result, there have been quite a few unexpected delights for me.
What’s her favorite surprising event thus far? Stepping out of Lumon’s offices and into nature for episode four, where employees from the terminated department participated in a work excursion called “ORTBO,” which stands for “Outdoor Retreat Team-Building Occurrence.
Sarah shared, “I found episode four particularly delightful because of an obvious factor – its uniqueness compared to the others. Plus, we filmed it on-site at Lake Minnewaska, which was simply breathtaking. We stayed at a picturesque resort with cabins and other amenities. Therefore, being outdoors, witnessing the snow, was definitely a wonderful experience.
