Royal Baby on the Way for King Charles’ Godson

The Duke and Duchess of Westminster are growing the royal family.

The godchild of King Charles III, Hugh Grosvenor, along with his spouse Olivia Grosvenor, have shared the joyous news that they’re welcoming their first child.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’m excited to share some delightful news: I’ve learned that the duchess is planning to welcome a new addition to her family this coming summer! A representative shared this joyous update with The Telegraph on March 12. This wonderful piece of news has filled the couple with immense joy, and they are eagerly anticipating embarking on this beautiful journey of parenthood together.

Nine months after their grand wedding with 400 guests at Chester Cathedral, England, the couple has shared exciting news. Notably, Hugh, who holds the esteemed position of godfather for both Archie Harrison and Prince George (sons of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as well as Prince William respectively), had a dear friend participate in a significant capacity at their royal wedding.

It’s true that the Prince of Wales, William’s close friend, served as an usher at their wedding on June 7th. Although William participated proudly in the ceremony, Kate Middleton wasn’t present due to her ongoing health treatments related to cancer. Even King Charles III was absent during this time, dealing with his personal struggle against cancer as well.

Despite this, the duke, who assumed his title upon the death of his father, Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor (who passed away from a heart attack in 2016), had ample backing from loved ones on their wedding day. Fortunately, as he was only 34 years old and admitted that he anticipated being a bundle of nerves when it came time to enter the cathedral for his and Olivia’s nuptials, this support proved beneficial.

Hugh expressed profound excitement in an interview with Town & Country magazine last May, joined by Olivia. He emphasized the immense gratitude he feels towards those who have been incredibly helpful and supportive, as he recognizes that the upcoming project will significantly impact the city and them personally. Thus, they are deeply appreciative of all the assistance they’ve received so far.

Even with their busy wedding preparations, the couple, who became engaged back in 2023 following a two-year relationship, swiftly found common ground regarding one aspect: the venue selection.

Olivia shared with the media that this appears to be the spot where they plan to reside, as they intend to construct their lives jointly here. They’re gradually making preparations to relocate from London and establish deeper ties, essentially taking hold of the roots. In truth, it was a rather straightforward choice in the long run.

Along with Hugh and Olivia’s exciting announcement, keep reading for more royal news.

In a delightful announcement made on the 12th of March, I, as Hugh Grosvenor, shared the joyous news that my beloved wife, Olivia Grosvenor, carries our first bundle of joy within her. The future is brimming with anticipation and love!

A representative shared with The Telegraph that the duchess is planning to welcome a newborn this summer. The pair are overjoyed about the upcoming event and are eagerly anticipating the start of their family journey.

As a devoted admirer, I mourn the loss of Frederik, the cherished son of Prince Robert and Princess Julie, who departed this world on March 1st at just 22 years old. His life was tragically cut short following a valiant struggle against PolG mitochondrial disease, a rare and insidious genetic affliction.

In a statement, Robert expressed that Frederik is like a superhero to him, our entire family, and numerous friends. This reputation has been further solidified, in large part, through his PolG Foundation, reaching many people worldwide. One of Frederik’s special powers was his knack for inspiring others and leading by example.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share the thrilling news: On January 22nd, I, the Duke of Sussex, secured a settlement with News Group Newspapers—the powerhouse behind The Sun and the now-defunct News of the World. You see, back in 2019, I took them to court over allegations that their journalists and private investigators had acted unlawfully, digging up information about my royal family in an underhanded manner. Now, isn’t that a fascinating turn of events?

As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but share the details of this incredible deal: The company agreed to compensate me generously for any wrongs done, issued a heartfelt and unambiguous apology, and publicly acknowledged not only the extensive media coverage and intrusion into my life, but also the same invasive actions directed towards Princess Diana, the beloved Princess of Wales. On January 14th, the Princess of Wales shared the joyous news that her cancer has gone into full remission following her treatment course.

She expressed her sense of relief in being in remission and continues to prioritize her recovery, as stated in a post on X, previously known as Twitter, on January 14th. Anyone who’s gone through a cancer diagnosis can attest that adapting to this new phase takes time.

She went on to say, “I’m excited for a rewarding year to come,” and added, “There’s plenty to anticipate.

In simpler terms, Meghan Markle, also known as the Duchess of Sussex, was saddened by the passing of her cherished rescue dog, whom she had adopted back in 2015, prior to marrying Prince Harry.

On Instagram, she posted on January 7th: “I’ve shed so many tears I can’t even count anymore – the kind that lead you to step into the shower, hoping against hope that the water streaming down your face will erase them or make you ignore them. But they’re still there. And it’s alright.

Meghan expressed her gratitude for all the years of selfless love, saying, “Sweet Guy, thank you.” She went on to mention that you’ve enriched her life in manners that remain a mystery to you.

Edward “Ed” Pettifer—stepson of Prince William and Prince Harry’s former nanny Alexandra Pettifer, also known as Tiggy Legge-Bourke—was one of the victims of the New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans.

William expressed his shock and sadness over Ed Pettifer’s untimely death, posting a message on Kate Middleton’s Instagram Stories on January 4th. He also extended his condolences to the Pettifer family and everyone else affected by this devastating incident.

Previously from the TV show “Suits,” who deactivated her personal social media profiles just prior to her 2018 marriage to Prince Harry, unveiled her own Instagram account on January 1st.

The following day, it was revealed that she would launch a fresh Netflix show called “With Love, Meghan“. As stated in a press statement, this production reinvents the lifestyle genre, combining useful tutorials and open discussions with both familiar and new faces.
