PS5 Exclusive: Midnight Murder Club Hits Early Access Today!

In case you didn’t know, Sony has just published its latest game on PS5 and PC.

Excitingly, I’ve got some fantastic news for all you crime enthusiasts out there! The Midnight Murder Club, a game that’s been tantalizing our anticipation, is now available in early access. You can dive into the thrilling world of detective work for just $19.99 or £15.99. Better still, this version supports cross-play, so you can join forces with your friends on different platforms, and cross-progression, ensuring your progress carries over seamlessly across all devices. Let’s unravel mysteries together!

The game was created by Velan Studios, a team previously known for the highly enjoyable multiplayer game Knockout City, which unfortunately ceased operations.

As a thrilled participant, I find myself venturing into an ominous mansion cloaked in complete darkness, accompanied by no more than five other daring souls. My sole possessions are a flickering torch and a trusty revolver.

The game is a stealthy, single-player online adventure, where any light or noise could instantly attract unwanted attention.

As a gamer, I find that adding a twist to my matches keeps things fresh and exciting. That’s why I love having unique items at my disposal, like night vision pills for seeing in the dark when it gets too dim, bear traps to slow down opponents, and bulletproof vests to protect myself from incoming attacks.

At the initial release of the Midnight Murder Club, various gameplay styles are available, such as the standard free-for-all and team deathmatch, plus some that focus on objectives.

In the middle of the night, a group of thieves are on a mission to collect skulls in different safes. The team that banks the highest value of skulls will be declared the winners.

In Head Hunters, two participants face off against the other four, all trying to set ablaze a sequence of totems scattered across the manor.

To conclude, Wildcards provides a set of playing cards that can significantly change the dynamics of the game. These cards could cause an explosion upon death, turning into flames, or bestow oversized heads onto all players.

An intriguing aspect to highlight is the resemblance it shares with the “Friend Pass” offered in games such as It Takes Two and Splitgate Fusion; purchasers of Midnight Murder Club are allowed to extend invitations to up to five friends to join them in gameplay, without incurring any additional costs.

For a limited time, anyone can download a complimentary “Guest Pass” version of Midnight Murder Club. The original purchaser of the game has the ability to establish a room and extend invitations for those with the Guest Pass to join! What a fantastic opportunity!

The strategy for the game’s pre-release offers a glimpse of enhanced AI opponents, a Player vs Environment (PvE) option, the capability to create custom matches, additional in-game items, and numerous new wildcards that will add excitement to the experience.
