Christina Haack’s Kids Thriving After Josh Hall Breakup

Christina Haack’s household has done a major flip after her split from Josh Hall. 

Following their divorce in the previous summer, the filming started anew for the next season of “Christina on the Coast“, showing where she and her children currently stand following the departure of her third spouse.

In a chat with her friend Cassie Schienle, the 41-year-old woman confessed that she feels relieved after dealing with a burden weighing approximately 220 pounds. This burden includes caring for her children Taylor (age 14), Brayden (9), whom she shares with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, and Hudson (5), whom she has with Ant Anstead.

Christina remarked during the March 13 episode of ‘Christina on the Coast’ that the house is far improved, and the children are exceptionally content. Essentially, everyone in this home seems to be flourishing, and the kids are particularly doing well. She added that they’ve all been thriving since he left, as there was previously a lot of unfavorable energy around.

The actress from “The Flip Side” stated that she tried to keep her marriage alive, but Josh, at 44 years old, didn’t share the same intentions. Over time, his general demeanor negatively impacted their bond.

She explained, “I genuinely attempted every possible approach – providing him self-help resources, keeping him engaged, even suggesting we venture into house flipping – but in the end, it’s impossible to bring happiness to another person. They can only find happiness within themselves.

For Christina, her biggest challenge with ending her relationship was having a third divorce.

The TV personality from HGTV, previously wedded to Tarek from 2009 to 2016 and Ant from 2018 to 2020, stated that enduring three divorces was not her desired path. “Not at all did I want to experience a third divorce,” she said.

In their chat, Cassie tenderly advised Christina, who made her romance with Christopher Larocca public in February, to pause her search for love temporarily and instead devote more attention to her children and career.

She remarked, “Indeed, you have your lovely kids and an excellent lifestyle along with a thriving career.” I suggested, “Let’s take things one step at a time.

Prior to their divorce, which occurred in July, Josh was initially scheduled to appear alongside his former spouse Christina, Tarek, and his wife Heather Rae El Moussa on the TV show “The Flip Off”. However, according to Christina, the dynamic between her and Josh deteriorated, causing friction during filming.

In a recent episode of The Flip Off, I shared with Tarek that he seems to take issue with me. He’s expressed that he doesn’t appreciate me, labeling me as ‘cocky.’ However, both of us understand that I’m not cocky or arrogant; I simply put in the effort and get things done.

Christina added that her children witnessed the behavior firsthand.

“The kids literally asked me to leave,” she recalled to Tarek. “They told me he’s not nice to me.”

In the end, Christina’s choice to part ways with Josh amidst the competition proved beneficial for her.

Christina shared with Us Weekly in January that Josh was challenging to work with. She explained, “He didn’t quite grasp the concept. He’d often become frustrated with me, saying things like ‘Oh, my gosh, you did this’ or ‘You did that.’ And I’d respond, ‘I’m making a TV show.’

In the end, it turned out for the best that he departed following the first episode, as the series would have been less enjoyable otherwise.

This pair rejoiced in the thrilling Halloween season by attending Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights.

Just a few months later, they marked their first Christmas together.

In this lovely photo, she expressed the sentiment of creating our lives as a team while also cherishing some personal moments. To Josh, her love remains unwavering.

The following month, Christina enjoyed the “Best Valentine’s weekend with my Valentine.”

Christina posted on Instagram, “I prayed for a man who was truly a man, yet he always made me feel like a queen. A few days before the news of my marriage to Josh became public, I wrote this: ‘Never stop hoping.’

In April 2022, it became public knowledge that Christina and Josh had secretly gotten married. They officially sealed their relationship with a wedding in Hawaii in September. Christina shared on Instagram on September 4th: ‘I exchanged vows with my soulmate in front of our loved ones. Every step I’ve taken has brought me to this very moment, which is exactly where I want to be. My ideal partner on the most idyllic island. Maui holds a unique place in my heart. What an unforgettable evening filled with love.’ It was later disclosed that they had actually wed in October 2021.

The real estate agent honored the HGTV star’s birthday by posting a heartfelt message on Instagram:

“Happy 40th Birthday to my stunning wife!” he wrote. “She has achieved so much, inspired countless people, and never fails to astound me every day. I could go on and on about how remarkable she is and what she’s capable of. Christina is set to make her forties the best years of her life, looking more radiant than ever during this journey! I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be on this ride with her as we live our lives together. Ride or die, my love – you mean the world to me.

Josh posted on Instagram, ‘Still thriving…’, with pictures spanning the last three years. ‘March 2024’ → ‘March 2023’ → ‘March 2022’ → ‘March 2021.’

Josh initiated a separation from Christina, stating that they had unresolvable disputes as the cause of their parting ways.

Christina, when organizing things herself, mentioned the same cause for their separation, but she differed from Josh regarding the exact date of their separation. Instead of July 8, she noted July 7 as the day they parted ways.
