PlayStation Employs Bulletstorm Dev to Make New PS5 Game Based on Sony IP

As a devoted enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share the news that People Can Fly, the masterminds behind action-packed games like Bulletstorm and Outriders, has sealed a deal with PlayStation to create a fresh title based on one of Sony’s existing intellectual properties. The only tidbit we’ve got so far is its code name: Project Delta.

The technical jargon indicates that People Can Fly has begun creating a test version (prototype) of a brand new video game called Project Delta, which is owned by [the] Publisher. At present, they are also working together with Microsoft on the development of Gears of War: E-Day.

Information about which Sony Intellectual Property (IP) the developer is currently working on has not been disclosed yet. However, considering their past work, it’s quite likely that they’re developing a shooter game. This could potentially mean a new installment of Killzone, a comeback of Resistance, a SOCOM title, or perhaps even another MAG. What we are certain about is that the project is centered around an existing Sony IP.

People Can Fly hails from Poland and was established in 2002. They’ve gained significant recognition for their work on Bulletstorm, but they’ve also produced Outriders, as well as Gears of War: Judgment. Additionally, they’ve contributed to various other projects such as the Save the World mode in Fortnite.
