Kathy’s Guilt Explodes After Shocking EastEnders Affair Revelation!

Next week on EastEnders, Gillian Taylforth’s character, Kathy Cotton, is expected to feel profound remorse over her clandestine relationship with Harvey Monroe, played by Ross Boatman.

Following several affectionate kisses shared with Kathy, who seemed particularly attentive, Harvey made an effort to stay loyal to his partner, Jean Slater (played by Gillian Wright).

However, as Jean didn’t acknowledge Harvey’s supportive attempts following Martin Fowler’s (James Bye) demise, tensions escalated, leading Harvey to hastily visit Kathy at the Beale residence, where they ended up spending the night together.

Initially, Harvey labeled the incident as a mistake shortly after it happened, but later on, he and Kathy consented to engage in an affair. Harvey swore that it was indeed Kathy whom he desired to be with.

Following this significant choice, Kathy and Harvey are bursting with anticipation as they share the aftermath of their night spent together on the set of their BBC soap opera.

While Jean is unaware, she’s engrossed in assisting Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) with arranging Martin’s funeral. However, they eventually have disagreements.

1. Kathy shares some guidance with Jean regarding managing Ruby, and later, both Jean and Ruby come together about their plans. In the end, Jean pays a visit to Kathy to express gratitude for her help.

2. Initially, Kathy gives advice on dealing with Ruby to Jean. Eventually, Jean and Ruby join forces over their plans. Subsequently, Jean goes to see Kathy to thank her for her assistance.

Kathy finds herself overwhelmed with remorse, and her emotions intensify as she becomes involved in assisting Jean and Ruby with Martin’s memorial service.

In the midst of another round of rowing among the other women, can Kathy set aside her feelings of guilt to aid in resolving the disputes between Jean and Ruby?

Previous viewers might remember that Kathy hasn’t been faithful only this time; she’s had affairs with men who were already involved before.

Previously, she secretly carried on a prolonged relationship with Karl Howman (Buster Briggs), which was unknown to Linda Henry (Shirley Carter).

As a die-hard movie enthusiast reflecting on the past, I can’t help but wonder when Jean will inevitably uncover Kathy’s and Harvey’s betrayal. After all, secrets have a way of surfacing in the silver screen world, don’t they?

Additionally, it has come to light that Kathy might be the person responsible for attacking Cindy Beale (portrayed by Michelle Collins). If so, it seems Cindy is planning retribution. Could this incident jeopardize Kathy’s future in multiple aspects?

EastEnders airs these scenes from Monday 17th March.
