2022 saw Respawn Entertainment entering into a collaboration with Bit Reactor, an indie studio made up of ex-XCOM developers. This partnership aimed at developing a new Star Wars strategy game. Although details have been scant, it appears we’ll be hearing more about this project shortly based on recent leaks.
According to the Star Wars official website, the upcoming Star Wars Celebration event in Japan will unveil Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment’s new Star Wars video game. On April 19th, we’ll be given our initial glimpse at this game, which is categorized as a “turn-based tactics game.
Earlier updates have revealed that the title is being built using Unreal Engine 5. The latest news from its creators, as of an official statement made in March of last year, was that the project remained unaffected by the job cuts at EA, who are responsible for its publication.
