Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney Spotted Amid Rumors of Second Child

Jennifer Lawrence is feeling the joy.

The Oscar winner and her husband Cooke Maroney stepped out together in New York City amid speculation she’s given birth to their second child.

For the Mar. 16 occasion, per photos obtained by People, Jennifer donned a long, navy wool coat with a black turtleneck, jeans and a leopard print purse to finish off the look. She wore her signature blonde hair—which is currently sporting bangs—loose around her shoulders. Cooke, for his part, wore green pants, a grey crew neck and black wool coat as Jennifer held onto his arm.

TopMob News has reached out to reps for Jennifer for comment but has not heard back.

The couple’s excursion takes place five months after it was confirmed that the actress from “No Hard Feelings,” who are also parents to a 2-year-old son named Cy, is expecting their second child.

While the family of three often choose to keep their private life out of the spotlight, Jennifer has previously spoken to the change she felt when welcoming their baby boy.

“The day following my delivery, I felt as if a new chapter in my life had begun,” the star of Silver Linings Playbook shared with Vogue in 2022. “It was like the first day of my existence all over again. I simply gazed on.”

Not only did she start an exciting new chapter with the birth of her first child, but she also recalled instantly embracing her motherly instincts.

“I also fell in love with all babies everywhere,” she continued. “Newborns are just so amazing. They’re these pink, swollen, fragile little survivors. Now I love all babies. Now I hear a baby crying in a restaurant and I’m like, ‘Awwww, preciousssss.’”

Similarly, the Silver Linings Playbook star has shared the occasional glimpse into her life with the art gallery director—including how her feelings for him only grew after they became parents.

She shared that her love has expanded in a way she hadn’t anticipated, including her husband in this sentiment. And then they’re both out and about – strolling around, crossing roads. He’ll eventually start driving, acting like a typical teenager, sitting behind the wheel of a car. In response, I might just say goodnight, as if to say who needs sleep?

Before meeting Cooke, Jennifer was open about what she was looking for in a perfect partner.

“Somebody that has the same taste in reality TV,” she told Vanity Fair in 2014. Back then, she was also looking for someone who was comfortable being themselves and “isn’t afraid to fart in front of me [rather] than to have big, passionate love. [Those relationships] are deeper because you can be your true self with somebody, and somebody can be their true self with you.”

Three years later, The Hunger Games alum found her Mr. Right. As she told Entertainment Tonight ahead of their 2019 nuptials, “He’s just the best person I’ve ever met in my whole life.”

In the coming month, the pair took a flight to Paris, where they were observed exiting together wearing matching ensembles.

Not long after their Paris trip, the two flew to Rome in August 2018. The Oscar-winning actress and her boyfriend were photographed exploring the city, hand-in-hand. The couple sparked engagement rumors when Page Six reported they were secretly engaged after being together for a little over six months. The two were spotted having an intimate dinner and, according to the publication, the actress was seen wearing a “massive ring” on that finger. Lawrence’s rep later confirmed the happy engagement news to TopMob News in February 2019.

Jennifer explained on the NAKED With Catt Sadler podcast that she knew Cooke was ‘The One’ by considering her feelings and whether he was a nice, kind person. She described him as the greatest person she had ever met.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Jennifer and Cooke made several rare outings across New York City.

In September 2021, a rep for the Oscar winner confirmed Jennifer is pregnant with her first baby.
