2D Boy’s long-awaited sequel to the cherished indie game “World of Goo”, released in August, pleasantly surprised fans after more than a decade and a half since its initial release. Since its debut, the sequel has been exclusive to the Epic Games Store on PC; however, this exclusivity is set to end soon.
2D Boys and publisher Tomorrow Corporation have shared the news that “World of Goo 2” will be available on Steam this spring, although the exact launch date remains undisclosed for now. You can add it to your wishlist on the platform immediately.
Similar to its predecessor, World of Goo 2 allows players to manipulate goo balls capable of altering their form. The objective is for you to utilize these shape-shifting goos to conquer environmental puzzles and overcome platforming obstacles. Take a peek at the trailer below, which previews its Steam launch and offers brief glimpses into the gameplay.
World of Goo 2 is available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
