Drawing inspiration from the band’s idea albums and vintage gaming designs, Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior transports players into a post-apocalyptic landscape teeming with biomechanical monstrosities, cybernetic citadels, and devastated wastelands. Boasting retro pixel-art graphics that echo the glory days of action platformers, this game strives to encapsulate the raw energy of traditional run-and-gun battles alongside the complexity of exploration characteristic of Metroidvania games.
A Story Deeply Rooted in Voivod’s Universe
In the game titled “Voivod: The Nighmarish Voyager“, players take on the character of a warrior known as the Voivod, who finds himself trapped in a dreamlike landscape. Because his form is perpetually changing, he has lost his physical head and relies on his own detached consciousness, Nothingface, for guidance. To free himself from his suffering, he must navigate a shattered reality, gathering pieces of his scattered mind while combating strange beings inspired by Voivod’s iconic album art and futuristic storytelling.

To guarantee an accurate portrayal of their artistic essence, Voivod is actively participating in the creation process of the game.
