Warning: The events revealed in tomorrow’s Emmerdale episode (20th March) may spoil your viewing experience if you haven’t already watched it, as it is now streaming on ITVX.
In the soap opera Emmerdale, it appears that William Ash’s character, Caleb Miligan, will fall prey to Joe Tate’s (played by Ned Porteous) sinister plot, and unfortunately for him, he remains unaware of his nephew’s malicious intentions.
Following a deception where Joe falsely claimed to have a genetic disorder, he managed to persuade Doctor Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) to assist him. Subsequently, Manpreet provided Joe with a blood sample which she had obtained while sympathizing with a tired Caleb out of concern for his well-being.
It appears that while Joe stated his intention was simply to determine if Caleb had the same ailment, in reality, he handed over the sample to a questionable medical professional named Crowley instead.
Crowley verified that Caleb’s kidney was compatible with Joe’s, given that Joe is suffering from long-term kidney disease.

At Home Farm later on, Joe was brimming with joy as he playfully engaged with his clandestine love, Dawn Fletcher, portrayed by Olivia Bromley.
However, his attitude didn’t change when it turned out that arrogant Ross Barton (played by Michael Parr) had been reassigned to the security detail of Kim Tate (portrayed by Claire King).
Joe escorted Dawn to one of the properties managed by Home Farm, and they shared another intense kiss.
Eventually, we discovered that Joe was simply too drained from his ailment, preventing him from doing more.
Later on, Crowley shared with Joe that he had arranged the transplant to take place within the next two days, and it was essential that Joe brought an unconscious Caleb to him for the operation.
In a turn of events, Joe was managing everything smoothly, but then unexpectedly, Caleb lost one of his kidneys. Under these circumstances, Crowley demanded that Joe abandon the village and relinquish Dawn following the surgery.
Will Joe’s plan succeed, and what does this mean for Caleb’s life?
And, if he survives all this, will Joe really exit as promised?
Individuals dealing with chronic kidney disease may find additional information on the National Health Service (NHS) website, or they could explore further resources at Kidney Research UK.
