What Happens in My Happy Marriage Season 2?

In the second installment, the narrative revolves around Miyo’s journey of accepting her dual identity as an Usuba and Dream Sight Maiden. With encouragement from those in her circle, she gains mastery over her abilities bit by bit. Yet, her bond with Kiyoka faces challenges as they become entangled in power struggles and political maneuvers. The story kicks off with Miyo attempting to impress Kiyoka’s parents, particularly his mother, at their first meeting.

At first, Kiyoka’s mother harbors intense animosity towards Miyo, but as she comes to understand that Miyo genuinely cares for Kiyoka’s son and can assist him rather than becoming a burden, her attitude softens. The narrative then undergoes a significant shift with the emergence of Usui, the main adversary of the season. He has a past connection with Kiyoka’s mother and seeks Miyo due to her abilities. In the midst of this turmoil, Miyo is devastated when Kiyoka is incorrectly accused of a grave crime. Before being taken away, he confesses his feelings for Miyo, leaving her filled with remorse for not expressing hers earlier.

In the most recent installment, Kiyoka alleges that Arata has betrayed him, but Arata insists his allegiance is solely with the Usuba clan.
