Emmerdale Star Makes Doctor Who Debut Just 4 Years Later!

News about the forthcoming Season 15 of Doctor Who is flowing rapidly, as it stands, Kadiff Kirwan from “Slow Horses” has been officially confirmed, and there are more actors yet to be revealed within the upcoming weeks.

One of them is Max Parker, a previous daytime television actor, as reported by The Sun, set to leave a significant mark during the upcoming season.

Fans of Emmerdale will recognize Parker as Luke Posner, a character who last appeared on the show in 2021. During this time, his on-screen persona departed after battling with accepting his sexuality and dealing with the passing of his brother Lee (Kris Mochrie), whom Parker is involved with in real life.

After leaving, he secured parts in the 2022 version of Vampire Academy on Peacock and Netflix’s Blood, Sex and Royalty.

Apart from his enigmatic character in the upcoming Doctor Who series alongside Gatwa and new companion Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu), he is also scheduled to appear in the Netflix project of the late Norman Lear, titled The Corps.

Doctor Who returns to BBC One and iPlayer on Saturday 12th April 2025.
