This adventure will be written by several talented writers, including showrunner Russell T Davies and returning writer Pete McTighe, among others.
The titles are:

Showrunner Davies expressed his enthusiasm about the upcoming season: “Anticipation builds as the new season approaches, and there’s no greater joy for a Doctor Who fan than knowing facts! Here’s a plethora of them, including titles and writers, to help you prepare for broadcast!
Previously, we’ve caught a peek at several installments, among them being the Interstellar Song Competition, reminiscent of the Eurovision Song Contest, where Rylan will make an appearance. This episode is essentially Doctor Who’s version of it.
Initial images, exclusively leaked to TopMob this month, seem to originate from The Robot Revolution. They depict the Doctor, seemingly compliant as he waits in line, but it’s likely that beneath this facade, he’s devising a strategy for his escape.
As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the series, Lux, features Alan Cumming, lending his distinctive voice to the animated character, Mr. Ring-a-Ding. This charismatic figure is known for his vibrant on-screen presence, but in this role, he yearns to transcend the confines of his cartoon existence and explore the real world beyond.

Absolutely, fans have been brainstorming potential storylines for the season, as certain episode titles seem to hint at the surreal – dreams, fantasies, and the final episode title, “The Reality War,” is particularly explicit. Might the season center around the Doctor being ensnared in a simulated reality?
Some theories propose that the series might delve into self-referential elements, potentially uncovering a plot twist where the Doctor finds himself ensnared within a television program.
One viewer posted on X: “Currently, my assumption is that we’ll discover that The Doctor is actually part of a television program, but it appears to be an in-story show he found himself trapped within, possibly by Mrs. Flood who manipulates the circumstances surrounding him. Perhaps she derives power from the chaos or something similar.
Another has theorised that Mrs Flood will be revealed to be “the Master of the Land of Fiction”.
Here’s another way of expressing that: “It was suggested that maybe the finale is connected to this episode, where Mrs. Flood helps the Doctor understand he’s trapped within a television show. This would explain why she can speak to us beyond the screen and knows the details of his story’s conclusion.
Regarding the content of the upcoming episodes, only the future can reveal it – however, it promises to be a thrilling journey!
Doctor Who returns to BBC One and iPlayer on Saturday 12th April 2025.
