Jodie Turner-Smith Drops Heartwarming Update on Daughter Juno’s Big Milestones

Jodie Turner-Smith is one happy mama.

The actress enthusiastically discussed her little girl, Juno (the one she had with Joshua Jackson in the past), and the significant achievements she’s reached lately at four years old.

Jodie shared with TopMob News at the Clarins’ Beauty Icons party in Los Angeles that the young girl is rapidly developing into an intelligent and bossy individual. At three years old, she was already reading, which is quite impressive, and soon she will start kindergarten, another significant achievement for her age.

In simple terms, the actress from the movie “Queen & Slim” admitted that it’s a mix of joy and sadness to see her child growing quickly in front of her.

Jodie expressed, “I feel a mix of emotions, like wanting to shed tears but at the same time, I’m thrilled about her growing up. It’s mainly because I can’t wait to spend more time with her.

Moreover, although Juno appears to be finding her footing, she hasn’t fully grasped yet the nature of her mother’s profession.

Jodie mentioned, “I believe she doesn’t grasp the idea of fame, but she certainly understands when I’m dressing up, as she commented today, ‘Oh, it looks like you’re getting dressed up for something special tonight!’

The actress from the Agency series has shared a new statement, following her recent claim that Joshua allegedly failed to pay any child or spousal support as per guidelines and is pursuing full legal custody of their daughter.

In her court filing dated February 3, Jodie, who was previously married to the actor from “Dawson’s Creek” between 2019 and 2023, stated that it is now evident Josh is not open to discussing fair pendente lite spousal and child support payments for her. Since he refuses negotiation, she feels compelled to ask the court for its assistance and file this motion.

Jodie is asking for a monthly child support of $8,543 and spousal support of $28,641, in addition to a retroactive payment of $250,000 from Joshua (who is 46 years old) to cover legal fees accumulated during their ongoing court case.

In the course of our marriage, it was primarily I who took care of Juno, allowing Josh to progress in his acting profession. While Josh has been a successful actor for over three decades, I am relatively younger and have been diligently working to establish myself as an actress. Throughout our marriage, Josh earned more than me on several occasions, sometimes much more.

Previously, the actress portraying Anne Boleyn put forward identical financial demands in a filing from December. She contended that her former partner had pledged to always provide for her financially and assured her that their daughter would not experience financial insecurity if they ever separated, as he acknowledged the challenges of being a Black woman and a single mother.
