Bloodborne, arguably the most discussed PlayStation 4 exclusive ever, recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. Indeed, it’s been a decade since this masterpiece from FromSoftware graced our gaming world.
Originally launched for the previous generation console on March 24, 2015, Bloodborne garnered rave reviews and stirred a significant buzz within the PlayStation community. Remarkably, this game has not only held up over time but is often regarded as the peak of the Japanese developer’s accomplishments to this day.
As a passionate gamer, I can’t help but feel a pang of longing when I think about Bloodborne. Despite its enduring popularity, it seems that neither Sony nor FromSoftware have touched this cherished property since its initial release years ago. Rumors and whispers have circulated for over a decade, yet Bloodborne has never seen a port, re-release, or remaster. To this day, it remains exclusive to the PS4, running at a locked 30 frames per second. It’s a love that endures, but one that remains confined to my old PlayStation.
Despite any feelings of disappointment, we’re curious if your view on Bloodborne has evolved over the past decade. Is it still a timeless classic for you? Or do you believe that FromSoftware has surpassed their 2015 masterpiece since then? Cast your vote in our polls and let’s keep the comments section free from old blood.
