Barbara Bush's Baby Edward: Rare Pics of Her Growing Son at 6 Months!

Barbara Pierce Bush’s baby boy is ready for his close up.

During her guest co-hosting stint with twin sister Jenna Bush Hager on “Today With Jenna & Friends” on March 24, Barbara couldn’t help but express her joy over Jenna and Craig Coyne’s baby boy, Edward, as well as share a precious peek at him and older sister Cora Georgia, who is 3 years old.

She shared with the crowd, “I’ve got a brand new six-month-old fellow called Edward. Here they are, Edward and sweet Cora Georgia – my adorable pair of little ones.

In another scene, a fresh image emerged, depicting Edward held by Craig, both looking lively for the camera, standing alongside Barbara and Cora. Subsequently, a second image showed up, displaying Edward and Cora sitting on the floor with their parents, engrossed in a book as they were read a story.

Since viewing photos of her newborn son, Barbara (married to Craig since 2018) felt compelled to disclose some details about him to everyone.

She playfully remarked, ‘He’s quite a large individual,’ she explained, adding, ‘In fact, he weighs about 30 pounds. For comparison, my three-year-old tips the scales at 32 pounds. Therefore, it’s safe to say he carries a considerable presence.’

Jenna added, “I know he’s big, because he’s my nephew.”

But all kidding aside, Barbara gushed over her infant, whom she welcomed in August.

“No, he’s perfect,”she emphasized. “Proportionate and he’s here for the ride.”

Jenna, who has children Mila (age 11), Poppy (age 9), and Hal (age 5) with her partner Henry Hager, was deeply inspired by her sister’s experiences as a mother.

Jenna remarked, “Watching you as a mother is such a joy, Sissy. You have this innate talent for it that’s truly captivating and beautiful.

Indeed, the journalist took pleasure in announcing that Edward had arrived, standing in for her sister who generally avoids the limelight.

On August 5th, Jenna posted on Instagram with multiple pictures of Edward napping as his mom and aunt cradle him, “My little brother became a big brother,” she said, “and I found myself head-over-heels for Edward Finn!

Previously, Barbara shared insights about her experience as a mother, starting when she gave birth to Cora prematurely by six weeks at a hospital named after her grandmother, who was once the First Lady of the United States, Barbara Bush.

In 2023, during an emotional interview on Today, Barbara reminisced about her visit to the NICU, where a sign read, “Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital.” She expressed a profound sense of serendipity, saying, “It felt almost providential that she was born in this very place and received exceptional treatment.
