The last and final trailer for Bloodlines, the latest installment of the Final Destination series, has landed in our email, and it’s both creatively captivating and gorily intense – just like the other films in this consistently engaging franchise.

Terrorized by a persistent nightmarish vision of violence, a university student journeys back home, seeking the one individual who possesses the power to halt this recurring nightmare and protect their family from the grim destiny that seems unavoidable.

Featuring Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Rya Kihlstedt, along with Brec Bassinger and Tony Todd (his last film before his passing in 2024), this new installment in New Line Cinema’s gruesomely successful Death franchise delves once again into the dark origins of Death’s unique brand of justice!

The horror franchise “Final Destination,” which began in 2000, took audiences by surprise with its creatively terrifying scenes that led to the death of the characters one after the other. Despite a small budget of $23m, it managed to earn over $112m at the box office. Since then, four more installments have been released, including one in 3D, with the last being in 2011. Over the years, these films have collectively earned an impressive $663m, with the final two films being the most profitable. It’s puzzling why we’ve had to wait fourteen years for another film, but given its fun-looking premise, we’re eagerly anticipating this new addition!

There’s talk that filmmakers Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein demonstrated an innovative approach by staging a simulated death scene during their virtual pitch meeting with the studio, employing a blend of prerecorded clips and visual effects. This bold move impressed the studio enough to give them the job!
