Grant Ellis Breaks Silence on Litia Garr’s Shocking Finale Accusations!

For Grant Ellis, even the final rose has its thorn.

During the final episode of The Bachelor season 29, the 31-year-old proposed to Juliana Pasquarosa, but runner-up Litia Garr claimed that he had given her mixed signals, suggesting he was unsure about his feelings and had promised commitment while actually being torn between the two women.

In that interview with TopMob News on March 25, Grant expressed empathy, saying, “I understand how she feels because I went through a similar situation when I was in her position, and I didn’t reach as far as she did.” (In reference to his breakup with Jenn Tran during her season of The Bachelorette.)

Following her discussion on “After the Final Rose” about her split with Grant in the Dominican Republic, Litia, aged 32, expressed to host Jesse Palmer that she felt like she’d been unexpectedly let down, as if the rug had been pulled out from under her. Upon Grant appearing on the couch, she reproached him for his premature promises, both on and off camera. However, reflecting on it now, he admitted no remorse about his actions.

He went on to say that there may be much discussion about private talks happening off-screen, but what you see on the screen truly reflects his feelings and those conversations were genuine. He stands by his actions and deeds.

Though some viewers might have been surprised by Litia’s disclosures, Grant’s fiancée remained unphased by his statements.

Juliana informed TopMob News that it was no secret to her, as they discussed the matter following their filming sessions and he explained all the details. Thus, I find it unsurprising.

The 28-year-old added, “[Litia] is so deserving of love and I hope that she gets that.”

Moving forward, Grant and Juliana shared their intentions to relocate to Boston on the show After the Final Rose. With wedding plans now solidified, the soon-to-be bride subtly suggested that she’s already chosen a venue for the big day.

She playfully hinted, “It would be nice if we were in Italy,” but what truly matters is to celebrate our love with those who genuinely wish to support us, which is the real priority.

The Bachelor is streaming on Hulu.

On his initial night at the Bachelor mansion, Grant Ellis might have encountered 25 prospective romantic partners, but ultimately, it was Juliana Pasquarosa who received his final rose. As they prepare for their upcoming wedding, the soon-to-be bride shared her most important wish for their big day.

In a conversation with TopMob News in March 2025, she emphasized that regardless of the location or appearance, the essence lies in it being filled with love and all family members being present. She further stated that they will always enjoy themselves, irrespective of their activities.

After starring on the inaugural season of “The Golden Bachelor” and leaving Gerry Turner’s season prematurely, Joan Vassos later became the lead on the first season of “The Golden Bachelorette”. It was during this season that she found and got engaged to contestant Chock Chapple.
Joan expressed their optimism for the future in the November 2024 finale of “The Golden Bachelorette”, stating, “Life may have thrown us challenges, but hope remains, even at our age.” Chock then proposed to Joan in a stunning location in Bora Bora, saying, “I’ve been waiting for this moment in this incredible place to tell you that I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, waking up next to you every morning and kissing you goodnight.

In the season finale of The Bachelorette (season 21), it appeared that Bachelor alum Jenn Tran was finding her long-awaited happy ending with her final choice, Devin Strader. However, during After the Final Rose in September, Jenn, aged 26, disclosed that Devin, who is 28, abruptly ended communication once the cameras stopped rolling.

During the September 3rd episode, Jenn shared with host Jesse Palmer that he was once expressing passionate declarations of affection but then unexpectedly changed and showed no signs of love the next day. He even denied ever having been in love. Jenn explained that all the pledges he had made to her, as well as the love he had expressed a desire to give her, seemed to have vanished.

The situation became more complex as Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram, detailing his perspective and accepting responsibility (taking accountability). Moreover, he provided explanations for terminating the relationship during a 15-minute telephone conversation.

During their phone conversation in August, Jenn asserted that he ended their relationship then, but he countered by saying that Jenn had asked him why things weren’t working out during the call, and he was trying to figure out how to tell her in person instead.

He admitted that he was unsure about what other options he had, and went on to explain that he had held off telling her in person because she seemed to hasten the situation.

After that, Jenn walked towards “Dancing with the Stars” and potentially into the affection of her dance partner Sasha Farber. There have been whispers of a romantic connection between them ever since their elimination on October 29th.

In November 2022, Greg Grippo, who was among Katie Thurston’s suitors on The Bachelorette the previous year, appeared alongside Victoria Fuller on the eighth season finale of Bachelor in Paradise. During their stay, they declared that they were in a relationship. However, by April 2024, he disclosed that the relationship had ended.

Previously, as a dedicated follower, I had been following the romantic journey of Victoria Fuller on the eighth season of Bachelor in Paradise. However, before Victoria and Greg Grippo made their relationship official during the finale, my engagement with Johnny DePhillipo had come to an end.

Status: Divorced

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist became engaged in November 2023 during the final episode of the premiere season of “Golden Bachelor,” and they officially married in a televised wedding ceremony in January 2024.

However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.

During their interview on Good Morning America with Theresa in April 2024, Gerry expressed that after many deep discussions and careful examination of their circumstances, including their living situation, they both agreed it was likely the right moment for them to end their marriage.

They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.

Status: In a Relationship
After considering 32 possible partners, tennis player Joey Graziadei has found his ideal partner in project manager Kelsey Anderson. Overwhelmed with excitement, he couldn’t wait another moment to express his feelings during the March 2024 finale. “I can hardly contain my happiness to tell you that I am deeply in love with you,” Joey said to his chosen one. “There is something about you. Your energy is contagious and makes me smile. It’s a sensation I’ve never experienced before.”

Envisioning a lifetime together, he added, “For a while, I dreamed of having a wonderful life, but I didn’t truly understand how extraordinary that life could be until I met you.

Despite not initially connecting until halfway through season nine of “Bachelor in Paradise”, John Henry Spurlock (one of Charity Lawson’s suitors) and Kat Izzo (who competed for Zach Shallcross’ heart) decided to take a chance. John confessed his feelings with an Ascher cut Neil Lane diamond, stating, “I’m going to try something a little different today. My heart is telling me that you are amazing, you are everything I’ve been searching for.” However, just days after the season finale, they announced their split. In a joint Instagram post, they expressed, “Although our career goals are not aligned and our paths are diverging, we are thankful for the love and encouragement we’ve received from our families, friends, and Bachelor Nation.

Despite feeling anxious about her upcoming commitment, Eliza Isichei (formerly linked to Clayton Echard), resplendent in white, graciously agreed to Aaron Bryant’s seaside proposal. Delighted by his thoughtful gesture of seeking approval from her mother, she expressed, “I knew I wouldn’t be able to control what would slip out from my mouth.”

The postscript of the finale hinted at some difficulties Eliza and her ex (marketing manager) encountered following their return from Mexico. A few days later, they made it official that they had parted ways amicably, expressing nothing but positivity and respect for each other. On Instagram, December 2023, he shared, “Navigating these complex feelings as I watch the unfolding events. We’re handling our friendly separation with only good vibes and mutual regard.

As a devoted follower,

Despite my initial disappointment when Aven Jones hesitated to propose during our romantic moments, similar to what I had seen him do with Rachel Recchia on Paradise, I eventually agreed to his proposition for us to escape and make things work. This decision meant that my chosen engagement dress remained untouched, but I knew I needed to follow my heart. Love, after all, is about taking risks.

Just two days following the airing of our December 2023 finale, I shared on my Instagram Stories that our relationship had ended due to repeated infidelities. Aven later apologized for his actions, acknowledging that he had made significant mistakes and hurt someone very dear to him.

In a playful tone, Charity Lawson shared with TopMob News her satisfaction with the current season, a sentiment that didn’t quite capture the magnitude of her August 2023 finale. Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist, then got down on one knee and declared their love as “flawless,” posing the question to the child and family therapist, “Would you accept my proposal to make this fairy tale come true?”

As they await their forever after, the couple hinted at a potential wedding in either 2025 or 2026. Before that, Charity will have her turn on the dance floor as she competes on Dancing With the Stars. Overjoyed, Dotun told Charity on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose, “I know you love to dance and have fun. We’ve discussed this before—about how fantastic this opportunity would be. And I am thrilled to announce that you will be on Dancing With the Stars! Let’s do this!

Zach will have his fairytale conclusion. Despite some hiccups during the Fantasy Suite, Zach Shallcross wrapped up season 27 in March 2023 with a proposal. “I am deeply in love with you,” he confessed to travel nurse Kaity Biggar. “You are my universe. The affection I have for you surpasses anything I could have ever imagined.”

In July 2023, the Texas-based pair took another significant stride in their relationship, as Kaity posted on Instagram, “Now officially living together.” They’re currently organizing their October 2025 wedding vows.

The current status is: Broken up. Originally, Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio, who appeared on Bachelor Nation during Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise” and Nick Viall’s season respectively, seemed destined for a successful relationship. However, a year after Danielle moved from Nashville to Ohio to be with Michael, they announced their separation. As Michael stated in an episode of Jason Tartick’s podcast in September 2023, “Both of us invested a lot into this relationship, and it’s incredibly unfortunate when things don’t work out. When you realize that love is there but you’re not necessarily compatible, you grieve the loss, not only of that person and friendship in your life, but also the future you had envisioned together.

Brandon Jones declared his everlasting love for Serene Russell during their proposal on season seven of Paradise. However, their union did not last long; they announced their separation five months after their engagement aired in May 2023. In a joint statement shared on Instagram, they explained that trying to maintain their relationship privately amidst public scrutiny had been extremely challenging. “We are both going through a great deal of pain,” they wrote, requesting understanding and kindness as they moved forward.

The relationship between pilot Rachel and general contractor Tino Franco hit a snag when he was caught kissing another woman during their 2022 season broadcast. In an interview on “The Viall Files”, Tino admitted, “I in no way condone my actions. It was not right, it wasn’t fair to Rachel, and I regret it deeply every day. It’s something I am ashamed of and would change if given the chance a million times over.

The situation: Split

Indeed, it was quite a rollercoaster ride. Initially, Susie Evans turned down Clayton Echard‘s proposals during the 2022 finale, but later reconnected with him off-screen…only to call it quits six months afterwards.

However, the L.A.-based videographer explains their separation was for the best. In a November 2022 post on her blog “Susie Was Like,” she stated that those around her noticed her shine had faded and she wasn’t flourishing. She admitted they shared many pleasant moments, but deep down she was grappling with difficulties and felt out of sync with the best version of herself.

After dating Justin Glaze, a notable figure from Bachelor Nation, Susie later revealed that their relationship had ended as well, with the news becoming public in August 2024.

Status: Separation

Teacher Michelle from Minnesota received a Neil Lane sparkler and a $200,000 check for her future home from Texas-based sales executive Nayte Olukoya, but the couple eventually realized they weren’t compatible. They announced their split six months after their season finale aired in December 2021.

On The Viall Files, Nayte admitted that there were many ups and downs, frequent arguments, and fights, and that he and Michelle didn’t see eye-to-eye often. He also acknowledged that not having the final breakup conversation in person was “a jerk move.”

Michelle started dating Jack Leius in 2023, and they announced their engagement the following year.

The dynamic duo from BIP season seven, Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian, shared a vision of peaceful Sundays with viewers. However, their time together was limited, only spanning a few weekends. In a joint statement issued in January 2022, their patient coordinator Maurissa (who was involved with Peter Weber) and attorney Riley (one of Tayshia Adams’ suitors), revealed that they had chosen to part ways. They never anticipated this situation, but they have reached a point where they both need to focus on personal growth.

Status: Split

On the sixth season of “Bachelor in Paradise”, the show’s first same-sex couple became engaged, but they revealed their separation in October of 2019.

In our bond, love and concern for each other have always been paramount. Our goal has been to make decisions that serve our shared welfare. With hearts heavy yet filled with love, we’ve come to the conclusion that it is in our best interest to momentarily step away from our relationship. We aspire for what benefits us most in the long term, and at this juncture, that means growing separately as individuals.

Current Status: Engaged
In other words: Although Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer ended their relationship during the seventh season of The Bachelor in Paradise, they found that they could see an eternity in each other’s eyes. Initially residing in San Diego, the travel nurse (who vied for Tayshia’s affection) and the financial manager (who received Matt James’ first impression rose) have recently acquired a home in Tulsa, his hometown. Abigail announced on Instagram in July 2023, “About to enter our Chip and Joanna Gaines era because your girl just bought her very first house!!!” She continued, “Thrilled for the beginning of our new chapter and all the memories we’ll create here!”, hinting at upcoming wedding plans. Prior to their move, Noah proposed at a beachfront home in San Diego in August 2023.

Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile, both former contestants on ‘The Bachelor’, decided to tie the knot in a small ceremony at City Hall in New York City, about a year after leaving ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ as an engaged couple. They wanted to have a practice run before their grand wedding in September 2023. Serena, who now co-hosts the ‘Bachelor Happy Hour’ podcast with her husband, announced the news on an October 2022 video, captioning it “JUST MARRIED!”. They are still planning for a bigger wedding next year, but who wouldn’t want to get married twice?

Status: Married

In an emotional moment during the finale of Paradise in 2021, Kenny Braasch, a renowned boy band manager, expressed his deep love for Mari Pepin by saying, “Mari, I am so incredibly in love with you.” As he placed a Neil Lane diamond ring on her finger, he added, “I can’t imagine my life without you.” The Maryland beauty queen, who had previously captured Bachelor Matt’s heart, later moved to Kenny’s hometown of Chicago. Before their wedding, which took place in an oceanfront ceremony with 65 guests in Puerto Rico in November 2023, they made a lasting commitment to each other by getting matching tattoos during a trip to the Bahamas in May 2023.

Status: Married

Previously on Bachelor in Paradise season seven (2021), Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs, who was a suitor on Katie Thurston’s season, found each other. They split up during the show but reconciled post-production. In May 2022, they shared their happy news of being engaged, with Becca taking the initiative to propose. She expressed her hope that others would feel emboldened, saying it’s acceptable to break traditional norms. True to his return gesture, Thomas reciprocated later in October.

In September 2023, they welcomed their first child, a son named Benson. Becca gushed on Instagram, “Words can hardly express the love and wonder we feel for this little man.” Despite her affection for her towering husband, just weeks after bringing home Benson, the couple decided to tie the knot in an impromptu October 13 wedding ceremony.

Status: Split

In the season finale of “The Bachelorette” in 2021, Katie became engaged to Blake Moynes. Their affection for each other was first expressed during their overnight date, which included a paintball adventure, a cowboy soak, and a talk beneath the night sky.

With a gentle kneel, Blake expressed to Katie, “You’re worth the whole universe, and I’m thrilled to stand by your side and be there for you each day from hereon.

Three months following the broadcast of their proposal, the pair publicly revealed their separation. In identical statements, they expressed appreciation for the shared moments and the year’s experiences, but acknowledged that they were not suited as life partners. They felt it was kindest to move forward separately.

Now, she is set to marry comedian Jeff Arcuri.

Currently, the status of Matt and graphic designer Rachael Kirkconnell is “Separated”. Despite numerous breakup rumors in the years following their 2021 season together, they had initially split briefly before reconciling. However, as of January 2025, Matt announced that they have parted ways again. He expressed his hope for strength and peace during this difficult time, and emphasized that their relationship moved at its own pace to avoid the pitfalls of forcing engagements that lead to breakups in other cases.

Status: Split

Following Clare Crawley’s 2020 season of ‘The Bachelorette’, Tayshia developed feelings for Zac Clark, eventually falling in love with him. Despite exiting her season as an engaged couple, Tayshia later disclosed that their relationship faced some highs and lows.

She mentioned on The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous podcast in August 2021 that it can be challenging to be in a new relationship and then have to leave for a few weeks. She was being sincere and truthful about the situation.

After that incident, it seemed as though we needed to recall the reasons for being together. This, I believe, is quite natural, as reported by TopMob News in November 2021, they had chosen to part ways.

Status: Split

During season 16 of “The Bachelorette,” Clare deeply fell for Dale Moss. So much so that by the fourth episode, they were engaged. However, surprises continued as weeks later, Tayshia also got engaged. Interestingly, Dale later shared on social media that his romance with the hairdresser had ended even before this revelation.

In about a month, speculation of reconciliation swirled when these two were seen together again. Jump ahead to July 2021: multiple reunions later, Clare and Dale were solidly back together, complete with a ring. However, in September of the same year, they parted ways once more. Now, Clare is blissfully wedded to Ryan Dawkins and anticipating their first child together.

Status: Split

Following a short engagement to Hannah Ann Sluss and later a separation from Madison Prewett, fans had high hopes for Peter finding lasting love in his third attempt. Unfortunately, the relationship with Kelley Flanagan, a prominent figure from The Bachelor season 24, didn’t work out as planned. On New Year’s Eve 2020, the pilot announced that their nine-month romance had come to an end.

Although our bond was rich with many cherished moments, unfortunately, it didn’t last, as expressed by Pete on Instagram. However, Kelley remains someone who will forever hold a unique place in my heart.

In 2022, they tried to fly again, but by May of this year, they disclosed that their relationship had come to an end.

Status: Split

After the emotional conclusion in 2020, the pair revealed on Instagram that they would no longer be continuing their relationship. Peter wrote, “Madi and I have jointly decided not to move forward with our relationship anymore. This wasn’t an easy choice for either of us, but after many open discussions, we came to an agreement that this is what seems best for both of us. The affection and regard I hold for Madi will continue to persist.

In her declaration, Madi expressed, “I’ll forever cherish and honor him. I’m firmly convinced that our lives were destined to intersect, and we’ve both grown as a result of this encounter.

Status: Split

During the 24th season of The Bachelor, Peter and Hannah Ann had a short-term engagement. Regrettably, just two parts into the finale, it emerged that the pair were facing difficulties a month into their exclusive relationship. More precisely, Hannah Ann was taken aback when she learned about Peter’s ongoing feelings for Madison.

She said, “All along, I merely requested someone to offer their complete devotion as I was offering mine to them. Unfortunately, that was taken from me,” she shared, returning the ring. She added, “You took it from me because I relied on you, and I’ve always been asked to have faith in you. ‘Give me time. Believe in me.’
