The game “Assassin’s Creed Shadows” has lived up to its widespread praise by attracting an impressive number of players, with over 2 million gamers joining in during its initial days. This makes it one of Ubisoft’s second-largest game launches ever. In the time ahead, Ubisoft plans to release additional content for this expansive action RPG. However, before more content drops, its first update has already been rolled out.
Title Update 1.0.1: This is primarily a small update, as suggested by its limited change log. It addresses a couple of Photo Mode-related issues, specifically resolving crashes that were happening on both PS5 and PC platforms. Additionally, it makes adjustments to the stabilization settings across all systems. For further details, please find the complete patch notes below.
Despite its tiny appearance, the size of this update might deceive you. On Xbox Series X/S, it’s a hefty 8.88 GB, while on PC, it’s 7.03 GB and on Mac, it’s 9 GB. However, the PS5’s compression technology cleverly shrinks the patch to only 1.41 GB.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available now. Read our review of the game through here.
