Exploring Monster Hunter Wilds promises a wealth of fresh discoveries for everyone. From uncharted territories to never-before-seen monsters, these encounters will unlock an abundance of new tools and resources that players can creatively employ.
In Monster Hunter Wilds, certain game mechanics allow players to obtain unique items through interactions with characters met during their journey. These individuals may offer trades for something you already possess or collect hard-to-find items themselves, such as rare resources that aren’t available elsewhere. One of these items is the Drearisite Scraps.
How to Get Drearisite Scraps
Drearisite Shards serve as a precious resource for creating a secretive armor collection. You can acquire them in two different methods: by performing Material Extraction or by engaging in Item Exchange.
To get some Drearisite Scraps, you need to approach Sabar, who acts as the Item Retrieval vendor for Oilweel Basin. You can find him roaming around Azuz, the Everforge. However, before he assumes this role, make sure you’ve completed the Aida’s Apprehension side quest first.
After finishing the game, you can ask Sabar to collect various items for you as you advance through the game. Although Drearisite Scraps aren’t an item you can explicitly tell them to find, they will occasionally bring back a few of them regardless of your requests. The longer the time elapses, the more items they can gather for you, increasing the likelihood of obtaining Drearisite Scraps.
After Sabar becomes your item retrieval supplier, you’ll be able to talk to Nata at any base camp to handle the items they’ve retrieved for you. This eliminates the need to travel back to the Oilwell Basin each time you wish to check on them.
In the same manner as vendors specializing in Item Retrieval, there are other traders who engage in transactions with you using Drearisite Scraps. More specifically, Gawdygog is located within the Scarlet Forest, and Dogard can be found in the Oilwell Basin. Over time, the items they have for trade will change. When they do offer Drearisite Scraps, Dogard will require one Antimite Mass in exchange, while Gawdygog asks for 10 Ancient Wyvern Coins. You can manage these trading vendors through Nata at any base camp.

After acquiring Drearisite Scraps via any of these approaches, you’ll be able to fashion the mysterious High Metal armor set once you gather all the other necessary components for its construction.
