In anticipation for the upcoming season of Clarkson’s Farm, it’s been disclosed that William, the Prince of Wales, is set to make a cameo.
This week, I found myself rubbing shoulders with budding farmers in picturesque Somerset, and what a treat it was! The stars of Clarkson’s Farm, Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland, were part of the scene too, adding their unique charm to the mix. A film crew from the show was there as well, capturing every moment for posterity. It was quite an experience!
During their conversation with Cooper and Ireland, William shared that his son, Prince George, enjoys the show. He added, “George is tuning in now. I asked him, ‘What should I say if I meet Kaleb?’ To which he replied, ‘Tell Kaleb to watch his language.’
Cooper admitted he was reprimanded for using excessive swear words, but he found it difficult to quit as he enjoys it. He finds the entire show appealing because of this. Many people have praised him, saying, “You brought our family closer together,” which gives him a wonderful sense of accomplishment.

In his capacity as the Duke of Cornwall, William serves as the landlord for Duchy farms. The purpose of the gathering was to motivate upcoming farmers for the future, as he interacted with 60 potential future tenants.
Additionally, he was expressing himself not just as an individual, but also as a benefactor for Fields of Thought, a charitable organization dedicated to assisting farmers struggling with isolation and mental health concerns.
Prior to the premiere of Clarkson’s Farm’s fourth season, it’s been announced that a fifth season is already in the works. James May, one of Clarkson’s fellow presenters on The Grand Tour, recently shared that the farm show has given him a fresh sense of direction or meaning.
I find myself marveling at Clarkson: He’s not particularly hands-on, and there’s a noticeable apprehension in him when it comes to anything physically or manually demanding. Yet, this very trait seems to have given him a renewed sense of purpose, one that he might have been missing. It feels like a significant moment for us all, as we pause to reflect on our true selves.
