As an enthusiastic gamer, I’m thrilled to share the news: “Coming Soon on my PS5 – Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots, exclusively developed by Bandai Namco under license from Sony!
During the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, it was announced that the game’s title would be available on the Nintendo Switch. However, a fresh trailer has since confirmed that the game will also be playable on Sony’s platform, providing some much-needed reassurance!
This game appears to have been inspired by Everybody’s Golf: World Invitational on PS Vita, but it has several distinct differences. For instance, the characters now have a chibi-style design, which we’re not particularly fond of. It’s also worth mentioning that the original creator, Clap-Hanz, does not seem to be part of the project this time around.

The release is due out later in 2025.
After a long hiatus, the beloved Clap-Hanz franchise, known for Everyone’s Golf, is making a comeback. The latest installment will be available on the Nintendo Switch platform.
Sony’s franchise is being granted to Bandai Namco under a licensing deal, following a recent trend that also led to Freedom Wars being released on Nintendo’s system earlier this year. Similarly, Patapon will be available on the Switch through another licensing arrangement.
Currently, we’re short on specifics, but it appears that Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots for Nintendo Switch might be a revival of Everybody’s Golf: World Invitational, a game released on the PlayStation Vita about a decade back.
At present, there’s no information available regarding its release on the PlayStation 5. We’ll reach out to Bandai Namco for updates and share them as soon as we get more details.
