Approximately a week following its release, Ubisoft disclosed that Assassin’s Creed Shadows surpassed a significant player milestone. The game now boasts over three million players and marked the largest launch day for the publisher on the PlayStation Store, as per recent reports.

Yet, what’s even more astonishing is that it holds the second-largest single-day sales revenue ever recorded for this series, and players have spent over 40 million hours within the game. Initial predictions suggested it would reach six million players in its first month, but given its current pace, it could possibly exceed this number.

Within merely 24 hours of its debut, the action role-playing game set in an open world attracted more than a million players. By the second day, that number had doubled to two million. Moreover, it holds the record for the largest launch on Steam for this franchise, boasting over 64,000 simultaneous online gamers at its peak.
