Big RHONY Cast Shakeup Revealed – Who’s In and Who’s Out?

A Big Apple shakeup is on the horizon.

Recently, Rachel Chevremont from The Real Housewives of New York City has provided a glimpse into the forthcoming 16th season of the Bravo series.

Speaking exclusively to Francesca Amiker from TopMob News at the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Beverly Hills on March 27, the art curator expressed that while we’re all still uncertain about what lies ahead, she has a strong feeling that production will resume soon. (Don’t miss out on more from Racquel, catch her interview on TopMob News next Monday at 11 p.m.)

But the million-dollar question is will every Housewife from last season be returning?

Racquel, who attended the LGBTQIA+ visibility event with her partner Mel Corpus, playfully hinted. ‘I’m not entirely sure, but I would venture a guess that not everybody might be on board.’

Absolutely, this implies there’s an opportunity for some fresh talent to be part of the ensemble, and Racquel is definitely thrilled at the prospect.

As an enthusiastic neophyte, I wholeheartedly affirm! Regarding the upcoming season, it’s a delightful tease to hint that a few, perhaps just one or two, fresh faces might join our circle of ladies.

Plus, as she noted, “We already lost Rebecca [Minkoff], so we definitely have one more.”

Regarding who Racquel is eagerly anticipating might come back, she excitedly shared, “I’d be thrilled if all the ladies could return. I adore each one of them. We’re close friends with Erin Lichy, Gabe Lichy, Sai de Silva, and Jenna Lyons, so it would make me very happy if they returned too.

Could it be that spectators are speculating whether or not both Ubah Hassan and Brynn Whitfield will return following the heart-wrenching falling out and climactic confrontation they experienced, even though no formal announcements regarding casting have been released since season 15 ended a month ago?

Meanwhile, as the cameras pause, Racquel is utilizing this additional leisure time to arrange her and Mel’s forthcoming wedding in none other than New York City.

In her own words, Racquel admitted, “I had planned to wear black today, but my daughter objected strongly, saying ‘Mom, really? Absolutely not.’ I’m still figuring out what other color might work better for us.

Regarding Racquel’s feelings about finding herself under the limelight following her entry into the reality show last season, she’s found herself delightfully pleased by the response she’s received.

She openly acknowledged her initial fear. Upon agreeing without first viewing it, she immediately regretted her decision as soon as she pressed play. Her reaction was, “What on earth have I gotten myself into?” Panic ensued, but everything turned out fine in the end. They seemed very considerate and were simply two women trying to accomplish their goals.

And Mel agreed.

Mel added, “It was important for us that it portrayed our connection positively, and not only did they manage to do that, but they went the extra mile for us. I believe it’s quite an accurate representation.

Bravo’s unsuccessful endeavor to showcase our capital city united four women whose faces might slip your mind, even though their names are Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney, and Stacie Scott Turner; there was also one woman who so craved the limelight that she forcefully entered a White House party. Further details to follow about her.

Who?

Vaguely familiar, but…

Once upon a time, DeShawn starred on the same TV show as NeNe Leakes. Surprising, we know.

This one-season Housewife brought nothing to the Orange County table.

As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but express my disappointment in how Utah’s fresh Housewife from season two ended up. In the chilly month of January 2022, Jennie found herself out of the show following a wave of backlash over some offensive and racially insensitive Facebook posts she had made in the past. These posts resurfaced online, causing quite a stir. Later on, Jennie offered an apology, but the harm was already inflicted.

Her defining trait was “cougar.”

During season 16, the Orange County doctor, Dr. Jen, was not a focal point of any drama. Her temporary marital issues with her husband, who is often seen without a shirt, either Ryne or Ryan, were not particularly captivating. However, we will always remember Dr. Jen’s wild moment when she got exceedingly tipsy on wine at the Dubrows’ extremely awkward, yet entertaining, dinner party.

The initial period of work for the nurse anesthetist can be succinctly described using a word that, hopefully, no one ever has to encounter again: The unfortunate incident known as “Esophagus-affair.

Katie often spoke passionately about her charitable activities, yet her on-screen presence didn’t involve much else. She was essentially a one-time character who returned infrequently and didn’t add significantly to the friend group dynamics. Cutting a trip short? That’s definitely not advisable in the world of the Housewives.

During her two seasons as a full-time housewife, Charrisse’s marital issues became quite prominent, making them notable aspects of her character. Beyond this, her champagne room is another significant memory associated with her.

A one-and-done Housewife, Shamari was at least fun?

In season 12, it was refreshing to have Peggy as a new character amidst the predominantly white setting of the O.C., but her presence became rather irritating. The disputes she initiated were peculiar and frequently revolved around misunderstandings about words, which made them confusing. Her behavior during the Iceland trip, where she spent an entire day locked in her room instead of participating, showed that she might not be well-suited for the lifestyle portrayed on Real Housewives.

Rather than developing a connection with co-star Wendy Osefo during season eight, Nneka’s first season narrative was solely focused on an alleged dispute where she accused Wendy’s mother of being a witch (indeed, quite unusual). It would have been more enjoyable to watch them connect over their shared Nigerian heritage instead of engaging in an argument without resolution.

In season 16, Noella whirled around like a whirlwind of frenetic enthusiasm. Though her personal troubles (her husband, James, departed the country and requested a divorce just before filming began) were somewhat intriguing, it was her ongoing drama with Heather Dubrow, the queen bee, that prevented her from sinking too low in the rankings. With additional time and another season, we may grow fonder of Mrs. Bergener.

In her debut season, she was known for maintaining peace, but in her final season, she shifted to constant complaints about a discarded cake and baseless accusations of anti-Semitism. It’s hard to recall a more rapid descent from grace on the Real Housewives series than this.

In a rather unfortunate turn of events, everything that Amber and her spouse, Jim, undertook appeared incredibly desperate. Moreover, it was noticeable that Jim found himself entangled in more of the turmoil than Amber did. Definitely not a positive image to project.

From what we recall, Karen was a dental professional, and it appeared as if none of her colleagues held her in high regard. Moving on!

This was a real person with a show on Bravo. We promise.

In the latest season of RHONY, Jules’ stay wasn’t long enough for a top spot, but she certainly brought plenty of exciting storylines and drama to the table.

So unnecessary they couldn’t even get individual taglines.

Similar to Sara Al Madani, Nina embodied a multi-faceted, accomplished Arab woman skillfully balancing contemporary lifestyle with age-old cultural practices. For the most part, she managed to steer clear of the dramatic events in season one and at times found herself outshone by her co-stars’ more prominent, vibrant personalities.

Taleen proved to be a pleasant addition during the second season of RHODubai, however, with just one season under our belt, it’s challenging to make a definitive assessment of her performance.

In seasons 11 and 12 of “America’s Next Top Model,” the long-time contestant chose a peach, but didn’t leave a significant mark on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” (RHOA) universe, except for being pregnant throughout her term. However, she did earn praise for her memorable reading of Marlo Hampton during their time in Tokyo.

Normally, we require multiple seasons to rank a new Housewife higher in our list. However, Katie made a strong entrance during the 18th season of RHOC, challenging veteran Housewife Heather Dubrow head-on. It takes a courageous woman to question someone as high-profile as Ms. Fancypants.

Sara’s cheerful, insightful perspective on life was generally pleasant, yet lacked significant drama (apart from an occasion when she gave Caroline Brooks some less-than-appreciated parenting advice). Nevertheless, this tech entrepreneur significantly broke down stereotypes about what it signifies to be a contemporary Muslim woman in the Middle East, and for that we express our admiration.

The newcomers on the 13th season of RHONJ seem to embody the stereotypical Jersey Housewife and became entangled in a lengthy, seemingly meaningless dispute that Andy Cohen labeled as unnecessary during the reunion. Unfortunately, their friendship didn’t offer much more depth in the 14th season.

In the first season, Larsa didn’t leave a strong mark before departing the show. When the revival of RHOM took place for season four in 2021, her narrative focused primarily on her past friendship with Kim Kardashian and her involvement in selling explicit foot photos on OnlyFans. (or something along those lines)

After starring as a Bravolebrity for one season, she participated in season 12 of ‘Next Food Network Star’ in 2016, but unfortunately, she was unsuccessful again in that competition as well.

Regrettably, I found myself often on the receiving end of Brandi Glanville’s verbal blows, and her self-proclaimed mantra about thinness being unattainable was distasteful to me.
