Following the impressive performance of “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2”, it was hardly unexpected when Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment revealed they had commenced development on “Space Marine 3” earlier this month. However, despite initial strides in the creation of “Space Marine 3”, Saber still has some work left to complete on “Space Marine 2”.
On their official forums, Focus Entertainment has stated that they are not finished producing post-launch content for Space Marine 2. They plan to introduce fresh weapons, missions, a character class, and additional features in the upcoming months, with some surprises yet to be discovered even by dataminers.
To clear up any confusion: Contrary to some assumptions, the announcement of Space Marine 3 does not signal the end of development for Space Marine 2. On the contrary, no teams are being transferred, and no one is abandoning the game. Instead, we’re hard at work creating additional content and surprises for Space Marine 2 in the months ahead. This includes a new class, more operations, melee weapons, and much more! Rest assured, there are even secrets yet to be uncovered by dataminers.
This statement indicates that we’re embarking on a fresh venture, which is still many years from becoming available. We’ve reached a conclusion and are now initiating the initial stages of its development.
Focus Entertainment has announced that developer Saber Interactive has commenced work on Space Marine 3, a project that, as stated by the publisher, is not expected to be completed for several more years. This indicates that Space Marine 2 will not likely be postponed or delayed in the near future.
