I can hardly contain my enthusiasm! In less than a month, the magic of Eurovision will once again grace our screens, ready to captivate us all with the 2025 edition!
As a seasoned movie critic, I eagerly anticipate joining the thrilling journey that transports us to the breathtaking landscapes of Switzerland, following their triumphant win at Malmö last year. The grand stage will once again be graced by 37 talented acts, each vying for the limelight before the competition narrows down to a select 26 contenders. Each act enters with dreams of claiming the Eurovision 2025 crown and writing their own fairy-tale ending.
One of the entries is Remember Monday, hailing from the United Kingdom, performing their song titled “What The Hell Just Happened?”.
Amongst the 36 competitors in the contest, who do you think will ultimately claim victory? If you’re curious to know what the odds-makers predict for this year’s musical event, keep reading for their latest forecasts.
Eurovision 2025 odds: Who is tipped to win?

With only about a month left until the Eurovision Song Contest graces our television screens, there’s been no shortage of debate on who might claim the top spot. As per Bet365, Sweden appears to be the bookmakers’ preferred choice to win this year.
In 2023, Sweden will be competing at the contest with KAJ and their song “Bara Bada Bastu.” If they emerge victorious, it would mark the eighth time Sweden has won this competition, with Loreen’s second win being in 2023 as well.
Below are the top contenders to win in 2025:
- Sweden – 2/1
- Austria – 12/5
- France – 5/1
- Israel – 10/1
- Netherlands – 16/1
- Finland – 20/1
- Belgium – 22/1
- Estonia – 28/1
- Albania – 33/1
- Ukraine – 40/1
In simple terms, it seems unlikely that the UK will emerge victorious. As of now, Monday’s ‘What The Hell Just Happened?’ is forecasted to finish in 16th position, and its chances of winning are quite slim at 100-to-1 odds.
Currently, the defending champions, Switzerland, are forecasted to finish in the 21st position, as per predictions by Bet365, with long odds of approximately 125:1.
When is the Eurovision Song Contest 2025?
As a dedicated movie buff, I’m thrilled to share that the grand finale of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is all set for Saturday, 17th May! If you’re in the UK, grab your popcorn and get ready because it’ll be broadcast live on BBC One. Can’t wait!
This year’s broadcast details regarding the BBC presenters remain confidential at the moment; however, it has been announced that the competition will be hosted by Hazel Brugger, Michelle Hunziker, and Sandra Studer.
Instead of the typical schedule, the semifinals are being held ahead of their usual dates. Specifically, the first one will be aired on May 13th, and the second one on May 15th.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 final will take place on Saturday 17th May 2025.
