You can now purchase the updated edition of “Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy” for PlayStation 4 through the PlayStation Store at a price of $14.99 / £11.99 / €14.99, as announced by publisher THQ Nordic. The Xbox One version will be available starting April 15.
First, the enhanced version debuted on PC (Steam) on November 10, 2017, later moving to Nintendo Switch on January 29, 2019. The original game, however, came out for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube on November 11, 2003.

In a bygone era, an all-encompassing Egyptian Empire spanned multiple realms via celestial gateways known as Solar Discs. This empire eventually crumbled, and the civilizations within each realm experienced diverse outcomes; some maintained connections while others lost touch. Over such vast expanses of time, these once interconnected worlds have become virtually unrecognizable to one another due to their long-standing separation.
According to legend, there are two mysterious powers, one considered negative and the other positive, aiming to restore the ancient empire along with all its crowns. However, the authenticity and specifics about these forces remain unclear. Many people are attempting to decipher the truth behind these events and the true essence of each world. In the meantime, each world carries on with its unique path and history.
Lately, it seems as if unusual events are unfolding… Reports are trickling in from various locations about troubles arising. Peaceful settlements that were once tranquil are now embroiled in conflict, while bizarre creatures have started to emerge in valleys where the environment was previously serene and harmonious… The cause remains a mystery…
The link between worlds is partly neglected, partly damaged, and so precarious that utilizing it can lead to further complications and risks. Aeons ago, a wall called Heliopolis’ Great Wall was constructed for the safety of its inhabitants. Numerous individuals have passed through the portals only to vanish without a sign. Consequently, one cannot predict how one will be welcomed in any of these places or if one will reach their destination at all.
