It’s been announced that Elden Ring will be making its way to the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. This news was shared during the Switch 2 Direct event, where a fresh trailer for the game was also unveiled. You can watch it below.
Titled “Elden Ring Tarnished Edition,” this game is planned for a 2025 release on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. As of now, it’s uncertain if the Switch 2 version will feature the “Shadow of the Erdtree” DLC. Given the “Tarnished Edition” title, it seems probable that this may be a comprehensive or definitive edition of Elden Ring, potentially available on other platforms as well.
During the Switch 2 Direct presentation, it was revealed that Elden Ring Tarnished Edition is coming soon, along with other exciting announcements. One of the major highlights from the event was the confirmation that the Switch 2 will be available in stores starting June 5. In addition, Nintendo has disclosed that the latest C button on one of the Switch 2’s JoyCons will enable users to utilize the new GameChat function to interact with their online companions.
