Many people, including myself, consider Yakuza 0 as the top installment in Sega’s renowned series. So, you can imagine our enthusiasm upon hearing that a Director’s Cut of this acclaimed crime story will be released in the summer.

If you’re a PlayStation enthusiast, here’s a challenge: The Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut is only available on the Nintendo Switch 2.

A punch to the stomach, considering it boasts unique, unseen cutscenes for the first time, along with an innovative, four-player multiplayer mode dubbed ‘Red Light Raid.’ Let’s try repeating quickly: A punch to the stomach, featuring exclusive, never-before-seen cutscenes and a fresh, four-player online mode called ‘Red Light Raid.’

Frankly speaking, we find it hard to envision this game as a must-play, yet the developers, RGG Studio, claim there are up to 60 playable characters that can be unlocked. Our curiosity is piqued and we’re eager to discover what this game turns out to be.

By the way, it also includes an English dub, although true fans might prefer the authentic Japanese voiceovers instead.
