Among this year’s most eagerly awaited anime releases is Lazarus, a groundbreaking new series from the mind of Cowboy Bebop creator, Shinichirō Watanabe.
Thirty years from now, the story revolves around a sci-fi thriller titled Lazarus. The plot focuses on a revolutionary medication known as Hapna, created by an enigmatic scientist named Dr. Skinner. This miraculous drug appears to cure any illness.
However, following a span of three years since its release, Dr. Skinner discloses a lethal mutation in Hapna, indicating that it will eventually claim the lives of all users.
In a nail-biting situation, this eccentric scientist has unleashed a dangerous predicament upon the world, forcing our heroic characters into a race-against-time mission. They must locate Skinner swiftly and devise a cure to counteract the harmful impacts of Hapna before it’s too late.
