Minecraft friendly ghasts and Vibrant Visuals are rolling out to players

Fresh off its debut weekend, Minecraft is creating a buzz due to the recent film release and upcoming game enhancements. Just recently, Mahjong began its journey towards the anticipated Vivid Visual Overhaul update.

The official Minecraft channel took to X to reveal the news:

Delightful specters, spectral beings, and many more can now be tested in the Bedrock Edition preview and beta, which will soon be available for Java snapshots. If you own a compatible Bedrock device, you’ll also have the opportunity to test our immersive visual update – Vibrant Visuals!

By the end of March, it was disclosed that Vibrant Visuals would eventually be accessible on Minecraft consoles, following hints of a significant visual overhaul with ray-tracing as early as 2019. After much anticipation, players can now test out the update using Minecraft preview and beta versions.

How to enable Vibrant Visuals

To activate the newest Minecraft update featuring friendly ghasts and enhanced visuals, follow these steps:

This way, the information is presented in a clear, easy-to-understand manner, making it simple for users to follow the instructions.

  • Open Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
  • Create a new world or edit an existing one.
  • Go over to the “Experiments” tab.
  • Toggle the “Vibrant Visuals” setting.
  • Load into your Minecraft world.
  • Go to “Settings”.
  • Scroll down to “Video” settings.
  • Select “Vibrant” as your graphics mode.

What devices can I play it on?

The new preview update can currently only be accessed by Minecraft Bedrock users; however, don’t worry! The same update is expected to roll out as a snapshot soon for Java Edition players. Just remember that the update is compatible with specific devices within the Bedrock Edition for now. This means that some older-generation consoles might not receive this update just yet, but we hope they will in the future.

Perhaps I could employ this as an opportunity to persuade some of my Java-using Minecraft friends to switch to the standard Bedrock Edition. Having been a Minecraft player since the beta era, I’m always looking for something new and exciting. With countless mod packs already under my belt, returning to vanilla Minecraft with a fresh update could be the refreshing break in Minecraft gameplay that I’ve longed for.

Minecraft: Bedrock Edition can be played on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, personal computers using Windows, and the Nintendo Switch. Additionally, subscribers to Game Pass have the opportunity to access it too! Enjoy your exploration and mining adventures!
