The highly acclaimed and delightfully engaging “Kingdom Come Deliverance 2” stands as an extraordinary open-world medieval masterwork, providing a singularly immersive adventure for both seasoned players and fresh enthusiasts.

As a seasoned gamer, I’ve come across my fair share of adventures, but hidden gems like the ‘Lost Honor’ quest can be tricky to find amidst the bustling world of this game. It’s not as out in the open as some other quests, so you might need to dig a little deeper to uncover it!

In the journey ahead filled with significant choices and various options, this manual will walk you through each step as you strive to finish the ‘Lost Honor’ storyline in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

Starting the Quest

If you’ve traversed the Kuttenberg area extensively by now, you might have encountered unpredictable run-ins with bandits along your journey on occasion.

In the course of your usual wanderings, you may stumble upon a surprising situation that demands the full extent of your abilities when you cross paths with a former knight, now turned into a bandit, who is on a quest to recover his missing treasured gear.

To embark on this journey, it’s crucial that you’ve previously finished Main Quest 14: “The Tale of the Devil”. Only then will you encounter the veteran knight in the Kuttenberg Region, along the path connecting Miskowitz and Horschan.

The individual you seek is Jezhek from Holohlavy. He’s always available for a meeting at the forest crossroads located southwest of Horschan, and the rendezvous is labeled as “Polite Armed Man.” You can find him there at any time during the day.

To initiate this event, you can move quickly between various towns using fast travel, ensuring that the intersection occurs at your chosen map points.

Jezhek is positioned close by, slightly off the track, attempting to call out to you. However, his actions suggest he’s up to no good, but he’s not being too forceful or direct in his approach.

From where I stand, you’ll encounter several scenarios next, each requiring either a pair of initial checks or engaging in combat until he gives up. Probe him about his intentions, and when given the chance, select the dialogue option “Perhaps I can assist you” to initiate the ‘Lost Honor’ quest.

Zavish of Garbow

I, a humble gamer, would share with you an unfortunate tale. My prized armor and steed were swiped from me by a cunning solider stationed within Sigismund’s camp. To make matters worse, this thief set ablaze the peaceful village of Zavish in Garbow.

You need to locate the vile solider within Sigismund’s encampment, who can be recognized by his Zavish emblem featuring a black eagle as its crest.

Guards are posted at the entrance of Sigismund’s camp, and they can be persuaded to let you enter if you claim to be representing Jezhek from Holohlavy.

In most cases, you’ll typically discover Zavish in his tent, which is situated across from the field chapel, within the central-western part of the camp, once you have the freedom to roam around as you wish.

If you directly approach his tent, it could be perceived as a threat, especially if your standing in the community isn’t favorable here. In such a situation, waiting for him to exit or enter his tent might provide the safest opportunity for conversation.

Have a chat with Zavish, and you’ll find a few possible paths forward. If you’re set on challenging him to a duel, keep in mind that you’ll need an exceptional performance in either the Domination or Warfare skill, which calls for a remarkable score of 24.

To make it simpler to pass this skill test, consider increasing your Charisma attribute by either switching up your armor or leveraging the “Knight in Shining Armor” perk, which awards additional Charisma points due to the flashy nature of ornate plate armor you wear.

Should you not pass the test, you’ll find yourself in a position where you must retrieve Jezhek’s belongings. This can be achieved by breaking into a secure chest labeled “Hard Lock,” located near Zavish’s tent. Afterward, you would then make a hasty exit with the horse that has gone missing from the stables.

Choosing this alternative may lead to a decrease in your standing with Jezhek, yet it will enable you to finish the mission if you haven’t been able to start a duel with Zavish.

As a gamer, I could sneakily swipe the key to Jezhek’s gear chest when Zavish is dozing off at the campsite.

Preparing for the Duel

To regain Jezhek’s battle mementos, you must face Zavish in three distinct battles.

In order to reclaim Jezhek’s war memorabilia, you will need to engage Zavish in a trio of separate combat engagements.

As a die-hard fan, I’m excitedly sharing the details of your upcoming battles! In the first round, we’ll witness a thrilling clash using polearms. The second battle will pit you against each other with swords and shields. And

If you don’t have the weapons needed for the fight right now, you can buy all three types of weapons in Sigismund’s camp.

Just north of Zavish’s tent, there’s a smithy who stocks every kind of weapon you might require. To the east, you’ll find another blacksmith where you can buy shields.

North of Zavish’s tent lies a smith who has all sorts of weapons for sale. There’s also an eastern blacksmith, where you can purchase shields.

As a fellow gamer, it seems your weapons’ stats might not be equally balanced yet, especially when facing off against Zavish. If you’re finding the battle tough due to your skill level, consider honing your abilities by engaging bandit camps in the region using a pole-arm weapon. This could help even the odds and make future battles with Zavish more manageable.

It took finishing the quest “Finger of God” for me to truly understand the worth and potency of pole-arms, especially for maintaining a safe distance from adversaries – they can shatter quite readily. My advice would be to carry several pole arms when preparing for a fight.

As a dedicated fan, I’d strongly advise you to ensure your character is fully equipped with an armored set, including a helmet with a visor, to shield yourself effectively against Zavish. His swift, powerful strikes can inflict bleeding debuffs on exposed areas, so it’s crucial to stay protected.

Once you’re completely prepared, opt for a “Saviour Schnapps” or simply save your progress just outside Zavish’s tent, then agree to the bet with him for 300 Groschen to commence. This way, we ensure clarity and maintain an easy-to-understand tone.

Dueling Zavish of Garbow

In each round of the fight, the stages will follow one after another. You’ll have an opportunity to heal yourself during the breaks by conversing with Dorothy, the Bathmaid, who waits nearby outside the ring.

Make sure you have your necessary weapons at hand, verify the condition of your armor prior to the fight, and don’t forget to consume any healing potions you may have as well. This gives you a moment to prepare.

In this battle with the pole-arm versus Zavish, there are numerous strategies for victory, but don’t worry if you can’t quite measure up to him yet, as you still have two opportunities left to claim triumph. So, don’t fret and keep trying!

A good approach could be to keep a safe distance whenever you can, and capitalize on the lengthy attack sequences that Zavish uses.

After this meeting, you’ll be required to select a sword and shield of your choice. Based on your abilities and weapon affinity, you can opt for a short sword or a mace for the upcoming battle.

When you’re up against Zavish again, aim to land some well-timed, powerful strikes by skillfully responding to his moves.

In the end, you’ll find yourself engaged in a duel where you can only wield a two-handed sword. Keep in mind that Zavish will be highly adaptable during this fight, able to thwart your full combos. Therefore, I strongly suggest taking a cautious approach and executing precise strikes from secure positions.

Should you emerge victorious in all three battles against Zavish, you’ll receive the distinguished title of “Master of Masters“, acknowledging your bravery and success.

Jezhek’s Gear and Delivery

After overpowering Zavish, he’ll instruct you to retrieve your winnings from within his tent, which is easily identified by its green color. Make your way there to plunder the contents of the chest and grab the Brigandine that’s next to it.

Make sure you remember to get Jezhek’s horse, Gringolet, from the south stable at the camp. He stands out with his golden-yellow coat.

Be mindful of picking up Jezhek’s horse, Gringolet, who is distinguished by his golden-yellow coat in the south stable of the camp.

After gathering everything, head towards the inn located on the primary road south of Pschitoky. Disembark your horse in the courtyard, then enter the inn to inform Jezhek about all the recent events.

While traveling from Miskowitz towards Pschitoky Inn, keep an eye out for a pair of arches visible along the main road. As you approach the town, pass through the archway on the left with Gringolet; she’ll then be safely in the stable.

Should you successfully claim Jezhek’s belongings in the duel, you will be handsomely rewarded with 500 Groschen, the noble Lord of Holohlavy’s heater shield, and Jezhek’s distinctive spurs.
