Rise of the Ronin Developer Apologizes for PC Issues, Next Patch Coming April 10th

Even though Koei Tecmo’s game “Rise of the Ronin” was launched on Steam nearly a month ago, it has been encountering problems consistently. A patch was released on March 25th, introducing Prioritize Graphics and FPS modes, as well as tweaks to specific settings meant to enhance performance. However, players have persistently voiced their concerns about the game.

Excitedly, I’m looking forward to the upcoming game patch arriving on April 10th! Team Ninja is working diligently to tackle reported issues and promises that this update will either resolve or enhance some of them. They also express their regrets for any inconvenience experienced so far. What specific problems they’re focusing on, I’m yet to find out – keep your eyes peeled for the detailed patch notes due later this week!

The game titled “Rise of the Ronin” can be played on both PS5 and personal computers. For those interested, you can find our review focusing on the PC version right here. In this review, we pointed out some performance problems and persistent issues such as uninspired quest design and subpar narrative quality.

It’s quiet on whether Team Ninja plans to release their open-world action RPG on additional platforms (similar to what they did with “Wild Hearts S”), but director Fumihiko Yasuda seems to be keeping an eye on the Switch 2. For further information, check out this link.
