The climactic finale of Season 3 has just concluded, dramatically revealing which character meets their demise on this occasion, effectively concluding the Thailand-based phase of the series.
The spot bathed in sunlight continues a longstanding practice, initially set by its forerunners – Hawaii in the first season and Sicily in the second.
But all that could drastically change in the confirmed season 4.
In the upcoming fourth series, creator Mike White aims to deviate slightly from the usual rocky shoreline setting of “White Lotus” hotels, but he’s open to further exploring mysterious events or incidents, as reported by Deadline.
Previously hinted, the process of searching for filming locations will be intensified, as suggested by Deadline; it seems that another European city might be chosen next.
If some are pondering whether the series might follow the example of Nine Perfect Strangers by trading sunny coastlines for snow-covered mountains, it seems rather improbable, given that White is said to dislike cold weather.
The drama collaborates intimately with the hotel resort chain Four Seasons, having filmed the last three seasons at their coastal resorts on the beach.
Among the destinations graced by this hotel chain’s upscale properties are the glamorous French Riviera, an elegant countryside manor in Hampshire, bustling European metropolises like Madrid, Milan, Lisbon, and the city of love, Paris.
