As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve got some exciting news to share. Based on reliable intel from Tom Henderson at Insider Gaming, who’s known for his credible sources within Ubisoft, there’s a tactical, turn-based Rainbow Six spin-off in the works! It seems this game is aimed for a potential release on the PS5. Can’t wait to get my hands on it!
We use the term ‘eventually’ as this project seems to be around one or two years away, but just getting it approved initially is a source of some level of anticipation.
In the same universe as Rainbow Six: Siege, this new game seems to be a related tale, possibly serving as a companion piece to the much-loved multiplayer game. Reports suggest that players will take on roles similar to those in Siege, each operator boasting unique skills, which they’ll utilize to complete various operations.
Gameplay-wise, it’s apparently comparable to XCOM, which makes sense.
The game seems to offer a solo or cooperative mode instead of a competitive one. It appears that the game has a rather extended campaign lasting approximately 30 hours, and includes dramatic scenes similar to those found in movies.
