A Minecraft Movie just hit theaters — but McDonald’s Nether Flame Sauce is the real star

Over the weekend, the Minecraft film shattered previous records by earning the highest box office revenue of any movie adapted from a video game.

Instead of attributing the box office hit “A Minecraft Movie” to its star-studded cast or the vast fanbase of Minecraft, I propose an alternative perspective. Perhaps the film’s success was due to the introduction of the most popular chicken nugget sauce McDonald’s has ever created.

Nether Flame Sauce

You’ve got it right! The Nether Flame Sauce recently introduced at McDonald’s is a step above sauces like barbeque, ketchup, ranch, even the renowned Szechuan Sauce, and the pure honey available exclusively at certain spots.

As a sauce enthusiast, let me share my thoughts on Nether Flame Sauce – it’s not just hot, it’s deliciously flavorful! The bell pepper notes are particularly noticeable and add a unique touch. While I didn’t pick up on the apricot taste explicitly, its presence seems to subtly enhance the overall flavor profile of this remarkable sauce.

Enjoying a bite of the Nether minus the hassle of mobs, flames, or molten lava is quite pleasant.

Apple Cake McFlurry

Regrettably, the Apple Cake McFlurree didn’t hit the spot for me – it had an overly chalky texture. Generally, I enjoy McFlurrees, but the Apple Cake one isn’t quite up to par with my favorites.

When you usually order a McFlurry, there’s often not enough toppings for an ideal balance between toppings and ice cream. To enhance your experience, consider adding some extra toppings at a small additional cost every time you order a McFlurry.

Regarding the Apple Cake McFlurry, its toppings may not be exceptional, so skipping a few bits without them isn’t a significant loss. However, when I do have one, I treat myself by adding more Oreos.

One thing I recommend trying that may be new is dipping your fries into your McFlurry.

A Minecraft Movie Meal

The Happy Meal related to the Minecraft Movie includes food, beverage, and either a toy or a book. These items are packaged in a box styled after The Minecraft Movie.

It’s worth noting that the Minecraft Movie Meal isn’t identical to a Happy Meal. Unfortunately, I witnessed a customer at my nearby McDonald’s feeling let down after receiving the wrong Minecraft-themed meal.

In this Minecraft Movie agreement, you’ll have the option to choose between a Big Mac, 9 McNuggets, or 4 Veggie Dippers. Additionally, you’ll receive a side dish, a beverage, and an unique collector’s item as extras.
