EastEnders airs new fire mystery in early iPlayer release

Despite many finding it emotional, there was constant disagreement between Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Ruby (Louisa Lytton) throughout the event.

Instead of going to Martin’s funeral, a grieving Lily (Lillia Turner) sought solace in drinks with her friend Avani (Aaliyah James), finding it difficult to deal with the loss of her dad.

Lily’s relationship with Stacey was complicated, and she shared with Avani just how much resentment she harbored against Stacey.)

In the already challenging day for Stacey, a heartbreaking sight awaited her at dusk: someone had set Martin’s cherished stall on fire, reducing the tokens of affection and flowers to flames.

Previously in the show, Ruby seemed to harbor resentment towards that object. Could she have burned it? Or perhaps someone else was responsible?
