As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my excitement about the fresh sneak peek for Season 2 of “Kaiju No. 8”! This tantalizing teaser is an integral part of the captivating Kaiju Hyakkei series, meaning “100 Perspectives on Monsters.” Previous installments have showcased our brave Kaiju Defense Force members unwinding all across Japan, even celebrating New Year’s at a shrine. The latest masterpiece beautifully embodies the transition of seasons, with three spirited ladies basking in the enchantment of a cherry blossom-filled park!
According to the official account of Kaiju No. 8 (previously on Twitter), Mina, Kikoru, and Konomi are shown relaxing in a park during a pleasant spring day. They enjoy a picnic together under a shared blanket while cherry blossoms cascade around them from nearby trees. The accompanying caption read, “This April scene is perfect for cherry blossom viewing. It looks like the girls’ gathering will be a lot of fun.

Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 Releases This Summer
2025 Summer could be one of the most exciting seasons for anime lovers in recent years, boasting a lineup that’s truly impressive. The return of fan favorites like Season 2 of “Dandadan”, Season 4 of “The Rising of the Shield Hero”, Part 2 of “Sakamoto Days” Season 1, “Gachiakuta”, “Grand Blue” Season 2, and “The Summer Hikaru Died”. Not to mention, the highly anticipated second season of “My Dress-Up Darling”. In addition, Production I.G.’s “Kaiju No. 8” Season 2 is set to bring epic kaiju action this summer!
The second season is planned to debut in July, with a specific release date yet to be announced.
