The WWE NXT event started with a clash fueled by animosity and title aspirations, as Jaida Parker and Jordynne Grace fought for an opportunity to challenge Stephanie Vaquer for her NXT Women’s Championship. However, instead of announcing who she would face at Stand & Deliver, Vaquer was left in surprise when the former NXT Women’s Champion Giulia made a dramatic comeback from injury, shockingly switching allegiances and attacking her friend. For several weeks, Grace and Parker have been exchanging arguments, and their competition has become increasingly intense each week. Both contenders presented their cases for becoming Vaquer’s next opponent, and Ava Raine arranged a matchup between them to help Vaquer determine the winner.
Parker and Grace engaged in a tough, muscle-bound contest, showcasing some remarkable displays of power along the way. At one moment, it seemed as though Grace had the upper hand, but ultimately, it was Vaquer who found themselves ambushed by Grace.
At that moment, a well-known tune echoed, and there, bounding towards the ring, was Giulia. Vaquer welcomed Giulia affectionately, but Giulia took everyone by surprise, including Stephanie, with a swift headbutt to Vaquer that left her dazed. Following this unexpected move, Giulia delivered a Northern Lights Bomb to Vaquer and positioned herself above her opponent, proudly displaying the NXT Women’s Championship as evidence of her victory.
At ringside, Parker and Grace were utterly stunned, while Vaquer seemed taken aback that her friend would attack at all, let alone with such ferocity. Later on in the night, Giulia was straightforward in her promo, indicating that any former friendship between them is not deterring Giulia from pursuing her Championship goals.
It appears that Giulia has been absent due to an unspecified injury, leading many to believe that the schedule for the Vaquer versus Giulia battle was accelerated. Initially, there were expectations that this encounter would gradually build up; however, following the reported injury, a Title versus Title match took place instead, with Vaquer emerging victorious and claiming both titles.
Giulia has temporarily taken a break from wrestling matches, but she’s back in action now, even appearing at some live events. Her goal is to regain the NXT Women’s Championship from her former friend. At this moment, it appears that a Three-Way match might take place during Stand & Deliver, although it’s uncertain if it will involve Vaquer, Giulia, and Grace or Vaquer, Giulia, and Parker. There’s also the possibility of a Fatal Four-Way match involving all four women, but we’ll have to wait and see.
