Little Simz has unveiled a pair of massive concerts in London and Manchester to coincide with her forthcoming album “Lotus.” Notably, she will also be the host and curator at this year’s Meltdown Festival taking place at London’s Southbank Centre in June. These events serve as a fitting culmination to Little Simz’s extraordinary music journey.
By the age of 20, Simz had established her own label, Age 101, and launched her first EP titled EDGE. Later, she introduced her full-length debut album, A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons, which was honored as Independent Album Of The Year at the AIM Awards.
In a significant turn of events, it was the third album, Grey Area, at age 31 that propelled the artist into critical recognition; this very album clinched the prestigious Best Album title at the 2020 Ivor Novello Awards. Since then, Little Simz has released her fourth album, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, and is preparing for Lotus, due later in the year – we’ve already been given a sneak peek with the new single Free from the forthcoming album.
