Bend Studio’s revamped version of Days Gone, titled “Days Gone Remastered,” comes packed with fresh elements and material. However, it’s the Horde Assault mode that truly steals the show. This engaging, arcade-style experience pits players against increasingly challenging waves of Freaker hordes, testing their survival skills to the limit. A fresh trailer has been released to give a glimpse into the overwhelming horde of Freakers players will encounter – take a look at it below.
The video preview showcases additional characters you can play, including Boozer, O’Brian, Iron Mike, and even a NERO solider. It also hints at both beneficial and detrimental Injectors, each with unique abilities such as Fragile Weapons that cause weapons to break more frequently yet reward a 10% higher score.
In other words, features such as Unlimited Fuel, Random Consumption of Medkits, Rationing (which allows Medkits to sometimes not be used), and Exploding Enemies can enhance your chances of survival, but they may lower your final score. Whether you’re playing for pure enjoyment or aiming for a high score, Horde Assault seems like a chaotic, entertaining experience.
