Cyberpunk 2077 appears stunning on the hypothetical Nintendo Switch 2, yet it’s even more visually appealing on the PS5. However, to truly roam the streets of Night City alongside Johnny Silverhand, you would typically need a PlayStation Network account and a reliable Internet connection – for now, that is.
Should you buy the upcoming game for both PS5 and Switch 2, developer CD Projekt RED has confirmed that you’ll be able to move your saved progress across these devices. This means you can continue your game from where you left off, no matter which device you choose to play on.
As a gamer, I want to make sure you’re aware that to fully enjoy this offer, you’ll need to own the game on both platforms since it’s only cross-platform. The Ultimate Edition is priced at $69.99 for the Nintendo Switch 2.
In the initial Nintendo Switch release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which was famously challenging to port, this feature was included as well. It proved quite beneficial then, and I must applaud CD Projekt RED for ensuring cross-saving compatibility among their various games.
