For some time now, Nacon has been annually releasing the Tour de France on the PS5, but it’s typically been a production with a modest budget.
In the most recent update, the developer, Cyanide, has put a significant amount of effort into improving the graphics, which is evident to the eye.
2025’s Tour de France showcases a significantly upgraded visual experience on PlayStation 5, taking full advantage of Unreal Engine 5. Unlike most comparison videos today, the enhancements in this trailer are noticeable when viewed side by side.
Beyond increased tree population, enhanced greenery, and sharper graphics, the overall scene underwent a significant overhaul in lighting effects, dramatically altering its appearance. Truly, it’s an impressive improvement when you witness it showcased in this manner.

Of course, the cycling gameplay will still be an acquired taste.
These titles offer a strategic twist compared to usual racing games, with their main emphasis on managing stamina rather than traditional gameplay elements. If you’re seeking something off the beaten track, it could be intriguing to explore this unique gaming experience.
On the 5th of June is when we expect the title to be released, and there doesn’t seem to be any other significant event scheduled for that date.
