Drawing inspiration from BBC Radio 4’s audio drama “Annika Stranded,” the show introduces Walker as Detective Inspector Annika Stranded, who leads the fictitious Glasgow-based Marine Homicide Unit in resolving a series of grisly crimes.

Additionally in season 2, we see the return of Katie Leung portraying DC Blair Ferguson and Jamie Sives as DS Michael McAndrews. Moreover, some fresh faces join the cast as well.

It appears undeniable that the creative team behind the show plans to continue the storyline – after all, they wouldn’t leave such a massive plot twist hanging, with Annika’s father becoming the main suspect in a murder case.

Annika cast – who would be back for season 3?
