After the announcement of Avowed, it’s been confirmed that Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming game, The Outer Worlds 2, will also be available on Battle.net for PC. The exact release date is yet to be announced, but this science fiction RPG is set to launch later in the year for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms including Steam, the Microsoft Store, and possibly Game Pass as well.
In a special presentation scheduled for June 8th, following the Xbox Games Showcase, further information and gameplay aspects of Obsidian will be unveiled. Meanwhile, an eleven-minute sneak peek from IGN provides a glimpse into the player’s quest to reach the N-Ray Facility where they confront Dawn Assassins. In addition to enhanced graphics and movements, it showcases new weapons, as well as a new ally – the ferocious Aza who thirsts for blood.
In “The Outer Worlds 2,” you’ll assume the role of an Earth Directorate agent tasked with unraveling the enigma behind chaotic rifts across the galaxy. Your journey begins on Arcadia, where you’ll need to devise a resolution or choose an alternate course of action. Will you opt for a tactical approach, a bold one, or perhaps something completely unconventional? Keep an eye out for further updates coming in June!
